Restaurant closed Sunday evening and no taxis to get into Wellington.

Breakfast was good and flavoursome. Our dinner order did not arrive together due to a mistake in the kitchen. The portions were generous and everyone enjoyed their meals.

The bed was awful, mattress needs replacing. Serious lack of sleep.

Convenient location for our visit. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great friendly staff and superb dinner. Breakfast was also good.

We booked a table for a evening meal service staff and food was very good we stayed 1 night the room was comfortable and clean breakfast was also very good

The toilet didn't like flushing very well also the motors were going all night outside our window on a flat roof to do with cooling units which was quite noisy could not have window open

Food was very good, staff pleasant.

The decor in hotel area and room was looking tired.

First time we went to the bar to order food took a long time didn't seem keen or understaff due to a function going on.Food was amazing staff where very friendly after that .One bedroom was cleaner than the other.

Food was great and the choice was vast so from this point of view this part was great.

The rooms were old fashioned, bath side panel was falling off, the sink was cracked. The decor was pre 1970 and requires a good make over.The heating was on flat out so the room was uncomfortable, open the window and all you hear was cars, lorries and trains.

Cheap pillows, not the cleanest I’ve stopped at, noise from the following, kitchen extractor fan, front door slamming shut, road which I accept, railway line which I accept.

Polite, friendly and helpful staff. Welcoming atmosphere. Warm. Nice public areas and free WiFi. Very clean room. Convenient location closer to the motorway and Wellington.

Bed was lumpy, woke with a sore back. Shower head would not stay in position but kept sliding down. Could do with decorating in places especially around the stairs. Soap dispenser broken in the gents loo.

Beds and pillows need replacing - very uncomfortable. Dogs in the rooms.

The room was very clean, comfortable bed and great towels!

Breakfast was beyond my expectations - I'm veggie and the alternative options were excellent. I also had an evening meal with a group of 20- served promptly and food again was delicious. Facilities in the room were great, hot chocolate, tea and coffee end biscuits. Overall I great place to stay.

The stars are a bit steep but that's to be expected in an older building - but maybe help with luggage would be appreciated.
