Mercure Newbury West Grange Hotel

Only that they couldn’t provide the usual food service due to restrictions but not a lot can be done about that currently

Really good value for money. The room was comfortable, not too warm and quiet. The staff went out of their way to provide a vegan meal.

Shame the EV charger was out of order.

Great room. Very good reception staff

Food in restaurant. Fish and chips v disappointing

Good location, good facilities, friendly staff

It's quiet and well-equipped. Glad for the in-room fan! Like the ample free parking and extra large bed. Perfect for our purpose, which was a one-night stay to attend the Heritage Festival at Englefield House.

While the room was well-priced, I felt the charge for breakfast was a little steep. The standard of food was poor value for money, and it was difficult to find an attendant in the breakfast room. We nearly left without paying because we couldn't find anyone to take our card!

room . clean ,spacious and comfortable .

No heating other than a portable heater in the room. Breakfast choice was poor

Nice size, good clean comfortable bedrooms with sufficient amenities.

No Chef working Lunch time

Good location.

Bath was a little worse for wearFire door was open for part of evening which made corridor very cold

Nice and comfortable room. The breakfast was tasty and had plenty of choices. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Breakfast was OK, would have liked some fresh fruit. The location was very good for me.

The breakfast room tables needed to be cleared as it was quiet.

Room was verynice plenty room looked brand new

no socket next to bed. No option to pay for continental breakfast

Clean Comfortable and friendly staff.

We loved the location. It's situated away in an almost secluded area which was what we were looking for. Moreover the staff were very friendly especially the lady at the reception (Laura). She was very charming and helpful. I'll definitely stay again and will recommend to friends and family.

Compact

Hot water took a while to heat up, late at night.

The room was large, had easy access and the bathroom was excellent, with a nice hot shower. The bed (double room) was great and I slept well. The receptionist was excellent, very helpful, and helped me make changes to my itinerary.

The room felt a little cool at first, but this was great for sleeping, and by the morning, was fine.

Location quiet room parking

Everything was excellent,we had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were exceptional. The staff were very friendly and welcoming

Clean and comfortable. Large seating area for a large group.

Breakfast, dinner, room, and the bar were absolutely wonderful! the staff were friendly and eager to serve, i really appreciated that. the rooms were neat, clean, and spacious enough for all our luggage. the beds were like sleeping on clouds

can't think of anything off hand. if anything the little road in front we had to turn in. the hedgerow blocked our view from cars approaching on the left. that would be the thing i didn't like

Staff were happy, helpful and friendly. Great breakfast choice
