Nice rooms. Bar good. Food not too expensive and good choice
The bed was comfortable. The shower was good ? We had a good evening meal.
Nothing really.
Comfortable bed, which was a true King size 6ft wide. Great pub with good food and service. Room was bigger than expected and clean. We thought this place was surprisingly good and great value too
Room was spacious, bed comfortable. Bar was large and quiet.
Shower and sink taps had issues (reported on departure). Bathroom got very wet quickly. Food menu was fairly restrictive for vegetarians
Lovely decor and comfy beds, great food and friendly staff!
Room was quite stuffy as warm weather. There was a fan, we should have used it, so our fault really!
The rooms were super lovely, especially liked the bathrooms. Modern looking and very comfortable, very big. Lovely little touches everywhere. The breakfast options are amazing for the price.
Service was a bit slow, both at dinner (we were forgotten a few times) and breakfast, but maybe it was a low-staff weekend - everyone was super lovely!
Friendly and helpful staff. Especially the starf in the restaurant. Beautiful location. Beautifully decorated bedroom.
Lovely hotel, great location for exploring the Downs and Highclere castle. Room was well decorated, very clean and tea/coffee/biscuits provided. Pub attached was very nice and also very good food.
Clean & friendly
The restaurant food options limited i am celiac
Beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean and polite and friendly staff
Kitchen staff need training in segmenting oranges … slight issue with smoked salmon and orange salad
Very clean and comfortable room which had everything you need! The staff were very friendly and helpful too. Would absolutely stay again in the future.
Area. Room very spacious. Lovely outside seating areas. Good breakfast
Shower - I only managed to get a dribble of water. No bath towel - had to get from reception
We stayed here for one night whilst cycling the Kennet and Avon canal. An oasis in the middle of nowhere! We were very impressed with the standard of accommodation and the friendly, helpful staff. Thank you.
Breakfast are good. The room was good. The only complaint is the hot water in the annex took a long while to get hot.
Good location, clean , lovely room, excellent food and breakfast
Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Pillows a bit hard- but now I am being picky!
Nowhere to put suitcase whilst using it in the room. No shelves and only one small drawer. Only one very small towell rail in bathroom so nowhere to put bath towels before or after use except one hook on the back of door. Only one hand towell for 2 people. No dressing table for makeup as no mirror in room except dress mirror on long wall. Room for improvement in the design of the rooms.
The room was well decorated and comfortable and shower was good.
Breakfast choices were reduced since last time I stayed when there were cereals and fruit out as well as the breakfast.
