The inclusion of such an encompassing breakfast option sets forth the day very well. The hotel is super clean, super tidy, super friendly and super near to the amenities of the town.

Fantastic place to stay: Clean, well resourced, lovely staff, thoughtfully decorated, quiet, central location, good breakfast, free parking.. Just excellent! I really couldn't fault it.. I definitely would recommend this hotel

Conveniently located right in the centre of town. Really lovely staff. Great freshly cooked breakfast.

The attitude and professionalism of all the staff, always smiling and asking if everything was ok, which it was. It was a excellent weekend at the spilman hotel.

The room was very clean with everything I needed for my stay bed was comfortable shower room was clean lovely breakfast staff were lovely.

Probably the quietest hotel we've ever stayed in, we didn't hear any of the other guests during the evening/night. Breakfast was extremely good and brilliant location.

Car park is a bit of a squeeze to get into, but directions provided by the hotel were spot on.

Excellent room and location. Breakfast was excellent and all the staff I met were very friendly polite and helpful.

Spacious, very clean room and bathroom, good breakfast and check out time so not rushed in the morning. Both were well heated so very comfortable temperature.

Bed had a foam mattress and pillow which I don't: find comfortable though some people might. Hall light shining in under the door and external lights under our window kept me awake.

A warm welcome from reception. The room was lovely, spacious with a clean fresh modern decor. The added bonus was the under counter fridge with the milk and bottled water waiting for us. Hot Breakfast freshly cooked to our requirements. Plenty of options available as with cereal, yoghurt, fruit and pastries.The Hotel had parking, which was helpful. But it may not be suitable for everyone. Alternatively less than 150 yards away was a pay and display carpark (cheap to park for 24+ hours, cash and card payable).

Really friendly, excellent apartment and really tasty fresh cooked breakfast. Easy cheap public car park very close.

Could do with black out curtains as there is a really bright street light right outside on the back street. Couldn’t get my van into the car park narrow entrance.

It was excellent

There was a road closure on my way there that caused a 2 hour delay and instead of getting to the hotel before 11pm we arrived at 12:30am. I spoke to the lady on reception on the phone at 10pm and she couldn’t have been more understanding and helpful. She waited at the property to give us the key which was a godsend after such a stressful evening.
