    Pros +

    • I enjoy staying here for the value for money. Beds are comfy and cosy.
    • The room was comfortable and had tea making. Breakfast was good with pastries cereal and a full English cooked to order parking was good just have to leave reg no at reception
    • Size of the bedroom was good and bed was comfy

    Cons -

    • When we entered the room it smelt very strongly of food which was strange as the hallway smelt nice from the air diffuser so we could definitely tell it was the room that smelt. I found peanut shells left on the desk. Our room did not come with a hair dryer and we had to check out extremely early so I couldn’t have a shower as I wasn’t sure if someone would be on the desk to ask for one at that time. No spoon on the tea and coffee station. The smell was definitely the worst part of the stay and we had to leave the window open in February for it to slowly leave. And the uncleanliness from the leftover peanuts.
    • No mention of refurbishment until I had booked and reception is like a building site also no mention of bar/restraint being closed until after booking
    • Under repair, lots of unfinished areas, generally untidy and unwelcoming. Unclean bathroom and broken thermostat in shower

Room was very comfortable and ensuite had all the amenties you need. Value for money as going through renovations.

Unfortunately this hotel is going through major renovations.

    8SophiaPosted on: 2-16-2026

This hotel was extremely cheap for the night we stayed there and for the money it was great. Staff were friendly etc. The bed was nice and big.

It is a tired hotel and needs refurbishment but for the price it was fine.

    3RazvanPosted on: 2-15-2026

    Poor

I was in the room 210 for one night, the carpet is burn out and sticky

    5PhilPosted on: 2-15-2026

The room and bed was nice and comfortable.

No complimentary bottled water in the room. The toilet roll holder was broken so loo roll kept falling on the floor.Only made aware there was no hotel bar or restaurant available until after payment. There was noone on reception for us to discuss issues at check out.It appeared that only one man with limited English was performing all tasks by himself. It reminded us of fawlty towers. The breakfast room was inadequate as it appeared to be dirty and under construction. It was cold, lacked atmosphere and the eggs on the breakfast were undercooked resulting in diarrhea issues.

The room was ok considering they are still working on the hotel as the hotel was not always a Ramada brand hotel. So it’s a bit worn out but still saying that it’s a pleasant stay.

There is nothing I didn’t like as I would be being unfair as they are still sorting the restaurant and bar etc.

    8KarenPosted on: 2-10-2026

    Helpful staff

There should have been some sort of warning on the website page that the hotel was undergoing renovations so there was no restaurant, bar or seating area , but you didn't know this until you had booked and then had a message from the hotel.

The staff! I forgot some items. They were handed in to lost property and then returned to me. Very happy indeed about this. Also the free parking made the difference between staying here as opposed to elsewhere nearby.

The location, the staff, the breakfast.

The rooms need upgrading, it is tired, however I know works were underway.

    3AnthonyPosted on: 2-8-2026

    Comfortable beds, good parking

A lot of maintenance work taking place. No restaurant or bar open, this isn’t stated when booking. Staff were miserable and ignorant.

    7ElizabethPosted on: 2-8-2026

    Comfortable room.

No food or drink available. No warm welcome.

    5ChrisPosted on: 2-6-2026

Decent size rooms, Welcoming on arrival and a quiet place to work.

I booked a suite and the bed was made up in the lounge which I had to dismantle, stained duvet and the cleanliness of the bathroom was beyond acceptable. Also, no electric vehicle charging available as advertised and no restaurant or bar facilities as advertised. The air con does not work (this is consistent with many hotels, so its not a huge deal). The shower had not been cleaned at all as there was empty single use bottles of shower gel from a previous stay.

    3GraemePosted on: 2-6-2026

    Room was OK

Parking. Subcontracted out to a car parking enforcement company. There is a sign in scrren on the receptyion desk, which not immediately visible and none of the staff pointed me to it, so put my reg in. Consequently I got a series of threatening letters from the enforcement company and a huge fine. Ramada refused any assitance requests. Appalling from them in my opinion. I understand the parking charge for non residents ans even the fine for those deliberately avoiding paying, but as a hotel resident I would have expected the reg sign in screen to be front and centre on the desk AND for the taff to remind customers to put the reg in.

    Nothing really.

Everything so so outdated and dusty, needs major renovation and a proper refurbishing/ cleaning.

    8StonePosted on: 2-2-2026

Everything was as expected - we've stayed here several times. The room was cozy, comfortable and warm with a great shower.

No bar/restaurant due to ongoing refurbishment.

    8LaurenPosted on: 2-2-2026

I liked the fact that the room was lovely and spacious

I didn’t like that the hotel didn’t have late check out which would be good for the hotel as it would offer more

    7SimonPosted on: 1-29-2026

Pleasant warm room, comfy bed, easy access from M5.

Lack of restaurant & bar not advised before arrival. Unclear situation regarding parking process - advised one thing, signs said another, poor breakfast

    6LeePosted on: 1-29-2026

The room and bed were very good. The shower was effective, if a bit low down for a man of my height.

The hotel is clearly under major reorganisation and reconstruction, meaning that the bar was closed. Also, the lack of a receptionist meant that we had to wait around for quite a long time for some service. Not ideal, but the low price took the edge off the disappointment.
