- Location was excellent, couldn’t have been better placed for the theatre, restaurants and bars. The room was clean and modern with a small kitchenette.
- Nice room very clean good facilities for drinks and snacks... cannot fault the room and in someway the location
- Large room, well equipped and exactly as described. Good location.
Cons -
- The bed wasn’t the best, the bed frame was a lightweight one that move d every time you sat on it and the mattress was a cheap one. The room was also a little on the small side.
- Horrendous noise from the nightclub across the road till 3.30 am ..... good night spoiled
- being woken up at 0730-0800 and having someone walk straight into the room. they did apologise and said they had the wrong room, I assumed they were staff as they had the access codes.

Perfect central location Spacious clean room with lots of characterQuiet building Would definitely re-book next time in Cheltenham
Shower tray got a bit full when having a shower, had to wait for water to drain a couple of times during shower.
Excellent location, easy to get access, comfortable bed
Excellent location and tidy on arrival. Easy to access and cute kitchenette for teas and coffees. Excellent value for money.
The shower tray was damaged and so you had to avoid standing on the cellotaped area (!) but the shower itself was good. There was a lot of nighttime noise but it was the night after the races so I would suggest guests bring ear plugs (!) but I guess that’s what you get being located so near to the centre of town.
A lovely apartment with a great location in Cheltenham.Lots of room and well equipped.Definitely would recommend.
We were on the third floor and there are lots of stairs..............
The location of our room was excellent. All the amenities were within easy walking distance. The radiators in our room were working perfectly and we were very warm; in fact we turned them off most of the time.
It was initially difficult to use the outside code reader. Luckily a member of staff helped us.
Excellent location. Room was quiet. Bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and well equipped.
Our room was a little cramped and the dark wallpaper made it a bit gloomy in winter daylight. However, other rooms are bigger and lighter. When we arrived we weren’t sure we were at the right address and there was no doorbell to ring. It would have been helpful to have the welcome email explaining how to access the property sooner and for there to be some signage as it is not obvious from the street that the property is a hotel.
Close to city center
Dirty bed , cold room
Very comfortable room: everything of good quality and well thought out, especially the clever kitchen unit. Excellent location on The Promenade. Friendly owner who helped with the heating and offered top ups.
Bit of a faff to get in and out: codes for 2 doors difficult each time when weather bad, hands full of umbrella, bags, etc.
Spacious, well equipped room which looked great too.
Shower tray was a bit broken
The location
It was very compact. Challenges and costs of parking, which obviously come with being central. Other central locations in UK have included parking costs/permit.
Very convenient distance to the shops. A nice clean room comfy room perfect for 1 night.
Need to have decaf options for coffee and tea in the room.
Spacious room, very well equipped. Good supply of tea and coffee and the milk in the fridge was a lovely touch. Location was very central but not noisy.
All very good!
Clean room and good location.
I arrived early and wanted to leave my luggage, but the entrance code hadn't been sent to me, so I had to call the property, which was a bit of a hassle. This isn't a normal hotel, so it might be a bit of a problem for people who want to leave their luggage in advance. By the way I never got entrance code…
Staff were pleasant though there was no reason for me to have contact with them as they don't serve breakfast. My bedroom was on the top floor - good view. Fridge was a bonus especially as it was an exceptionally hot day.
I had difficulty with the automatic check-in system but was given help when I rang the property.
good location & nicely furnished
Previous occupants food was in the fridge, used towels in the wardrobe, dirty pillow cover. The bed near the wall and the window felt very damp & hance a poor nights sleep.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. As mentioned, it is on the 3rd floor with no lift and is a small single room. Not a problem as I travel light and saw this in the description when I booked. The shower was wonderful and I liked having a mini fridge.
