Friendly staff all helpfull. Good parking. Nice restaurant.

Better quality pillows would be an improvement. Some guest noise from a wedding function could be precluded by double glazing but did not spoil stay.

This is a charming, delightful and comfortable hotel. The staff are all helpful and beds are comfy and rooms a good size. Enjoyed the food as well.

Nice location, good restaurant

No heating, had to ask reception for a small heater.Other reviews mention being too warm, so it seems that the centralized heating is the problem

nice hotel clean & tidy staff were friendly & helpful

The food was shocking I ate in the bar ordering steak & chips the steak was probably the worst i have eaten burnt to a crisp on outside raw on inside. The breakfast was nearly as bad bacon was very over cooked, eggs under cooked I think you need a new chef.

The setting alongside the river.Spacious room with great facilities.Good breakfast selection, staff always replenishing items and were on hand if you needed anything. The staff were very attentive at breakfast.

The hotel and rooms were very warm.Different information given on reception regarding the price of breakfast. Hairs found in the sink and bath.

The hotel is conveniently located off the motorway. Otherwise about a 10 minute drive to/from the train station. The room was clean and well maintained with the amenities for a comfortable stay.

It would have been nice to have a nice touch of bottled water and moisturiser.

Everything was perfectly clean and spotless, our room, the Reastarant toilets. Best cleanliness I've ever said in a hotel. customer service was excellent and all the staff was all smiles more than happy to help in anyway

The only thing I didn't like was the special suite rooms. They are on top of the restaurant, so you can hear everything down stairs,people talking,eating everything.They were happy to move us to the other side ,which was a down graded of a bedroom. But it was much quieter and felt I was in a hotel not on top of a pub. But everything perfect and would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel, with great staff

Not really down to the hotel but on both nights of our stay we had boy racers thrashing their cars around a nearby car park, keeping us awake on both nights. First night I informed the receptionist in the morning and on the second night, I called the police myself. Had this in other hotels in Bedford. The whole town seems infested by these yobs???

Food in the restaurant was excellent. Checkin staff and restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was comfortable, clean and warm. In general a very nice hotel with good location for work

Loud music could be heard in the room until 23:30hrs at night and started again at 06:15hrs in the morning

Room and Venue comfortable

Noisy Radiators, and between 10.30pm and 12.30am noisy morltorbikes near to venue, ie nearby Road being used as a race track ?

The food was lovely

Two members of staff argued and used bad language behind bar for all to here. Not very professional.Also room was expensive of one night and breakfast wasn't included. Also whilst my wife was drying her hair the hair dryer blew and all power to room went out..

Nice bar, generally well or tighter

The roundabout and gardens are illuminated by tens of lamps and high wattage lights, which are on all night, and the curtains in the room are far from adequate to close and keep that light out. So sleeping in darkness is not possible.

Clean, comfy and quiet…..that is all you need

Reception staff could be friendlier

Used as a short stay for a party in the adjoining barn. Was conveniently located for party. Room was clean and comfortable. Good tv. Coffee & tea. And fruit tea which was appreciated.

Only a personal preference bed was a bit soft. Others may prefer this

Excellent location and friendly staff

Our food delivery in the restaurant was mixed up in terms of timing of courses. Quality of food was excellent though and staff were very apologetic about the mix up
