Cons -
- If there was one thing to say it would be that we were a little bit disappointed with not being able to book the spa facilities. As someone staying in the hotel, we would have liked to have been able to use the thermal spa facilities.especially from coming from so far away.
- 28 min wait for drinks. It is advertised as a hotel spa but not allowed to use spa. Miss advertising. Miss sold.
- No parking when we arrived. For the price you can't even use the pool without a reservation and the room service was bad,the food was brought to the second floor uncovered and ended up cold by the time it got to the room

Breakfast was okay. Room was nice and cosy

The facilities was clean and the staff where polite and helpful
Noisy at night time during the weekend as people are out
Location and aesthetics of the building and the potential are the facilities, meaning spa, and afternoon tea, and I'd been here before
The fact the restaurant was closed
Clean and tidy and friendly and helpful staff
It was all good but unfortunately as it was a last minute booking we couldn’t use the spa facilities
Riverside location. Beautiful tea rooms, great conference suite and lovey spa.
The room decor felt a bit dark.
Location wS great, easy parking and nice restaurant. Room very comfortable and so was the bed
Slipped and fell in shower, slippy and no mat
It is a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere
Sound proofing isn’t great and we could hear a lot of traffic noise as if the windows were ope ln. But they provided a fan to help drown out the noises
We received a warm welcome,we were attending a funeral tea so we were allowed to check into our rooms early which was very much appreciated thank you.Cleand and comfortable rooms.Staff all very friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeping staff who several times wenr out of their way to help us when we got lost,so a big thank you to them for doing such a brilliant job.
The heating neing on over night.
Room was small but okay, the location of room was ok but noisy at times. The cleanliness was good and location was good. Not too bad. The room and hotel was nice and warm.
The bed was uncomfortable, the mattress needs to be comfortable and pillows. More seating downstairs to lounge and relax we were in our room more as there weren’t seats to relax for long time. When we used the middle room we got a dirty look from staff member and she came and put a rope to close it. In Sunday breakfast was a joke the staff member wasn’t rude again as we asked for vegan breakfast everything e we got from buffet was cold.
The hotel is well-located and easy to access. Parking was available on site free of charge. The spa area is small but comfortable. It was great to have a few food options on site. We tried the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed it. The bathroom was great.
We stayed 2 nights, and our room was not cleaned after the first night. It was not a deal breaker, but it would have been nice to have that to come back to. The bed was supposed to be king-sized, but I think it was a large double.
Lovely, clean rooms. Good breakfast. Central location.
No free access to the pool as a hotel guest.
Super clean and well prepared hotel, nice furnishings and all options available.
Nothing!
Very disappointing
Shower in the bathroom was a disaster-no hand grip in shower, no antislip mat, nowhere to place shampoo or body wash. Shower head was appalling--it fell apart as soon as water was turned on and was impossible to replace.A member of staff was extremely rude on our arrival in the restaurant and when challenged flounced off into the kitchen. The banister on the main staircase was so over decorated that the rail was unavailable to poorly sighted or limited mobility guests
Very welcoming, clean and fantastic view
Can cinnamon smell of the reception area, was a bit too strong for our noses but that did not put us off.
No echo dot as promised, late night room service fell short. No coleslaw or bloomer bread with the ham sandwich, late night menu falls short, not enough on the menu, should at least have chips or other hot alternatives, hair dryer had no direction attachment when it was promised on my upgrade, restaurant was closed so I had to go elsewhere for food when I was staying away from home and didn’t want another below par sandwich from room service

Left an expensive top on the bed when I checked out and apparently it was “never found”
Location. Travel for business which was good location. I enjoyed the stay for myself.
I opted for am upgrade which, it didn't seem was an upgrade. The room was tired, needs redecoration. I was the only one on floor 2 and had a room which was further down the corridor than I would hope, considering there was no one else there..Breakfast advertised at 6.30, 7 on Bank hols, today Xmas eve they said 7.30 which was too late for me with work.I advised the hairdryer didn't work twice, thought it had been replaced and it hadn't.I've stayed with my friends and husband before and had a much better room and experience.. not sure what happened this time.Drinks in the lounge very expensive, limited to no atmosphere and I guess I was hoping for more.
The hotel was absolutely lovely as was the decor. Our room was excellent and beautifully decorated. The public areas were excellent. The food at breakfast and dinner was absolutely excellent. The staff were very nice and welcoming.
This is not a complaint as we could not recommend the hotel highly enough. It would have been nice to have had more space to put toiletries in the bathroom.
