Pros +
- Very friendly staff, very clean.Loved the free coffee machine, best coffee think we’ve had.The fact that the swimming pool with steam room etc was in with the price.Although we never got out of the room to make it hehe
- The facilities access in the loft and the pit stop were really good. Perfect for the intentions of our stay. The rooms were modern too and clean. Friendly staff and nice location on the lakes.
- Checkin / breakfast.
Cons -
- 2 single beds together the middle bit a bit of uncomfortable but everything else was very nice
- We went to the drift inn part of the complex and tbh it wasn’t very friendly, quite overpriced and felt a different vibe entirely to the willows training centre. Towels provided need to be bigger, they were very small. Access to the swimming pool etc is not ideal with the hotel because of the times of check in and out alongside the school/lesson swims and have to bring own towels as it’s separate as such.
- Bedroom was poor, two single beds together instead of a double bed and weren’t comfy. Emergency lighting shone through the curtain at night.

Really clean, room was spacious and staff very helpful
Hotel is comfortable
Bars don't serve alcohol before certain time, Staff is not very helpful,Taxi is a big issue to get
The place is beautiful, I had a disabled access room which was great other than having to sit on the toilet to use the sink.
The communal areas where icy cold. I had to sit on the toilet to use the sink and at 9 am in the morning whilst I was fast asleep my door was knocked loudly followed by housekeeping letting themselves into my room.
Ideal for a business stay - the property is aimed at the corporate market.Sustainability is a significant factor in the day-to-day operation of the Centre.
The corridors and public areas were quite cold and the bedroom was cold on arrival but soon warmed up after switching the heating on.
Very nice facilities and room free coffee all day in foyer and friendly staff
All good, no complaints
Buffet was really good on both breakfast and evening meals as. Room was great, staff were very friendly. After previously staying at the sister hotel, the drift inn, our expectations weren’t that great but we were very pleasantly surprised and just found the experience at the willow training center to be so much better. Staff were great!
Cheap room, handy for a stay after a night out with colleagues. Comfortable and clean, ample parking, nice area.
Staff banging on the door in the morning seeing if I’d checked out an hour before ‘check out’. No socket by the bed.
Location ,breakfast , comfy clean rooms
The room was very spacious had desk 2 armchairs looked newly decorated, nice big walk in shower rainfall shower toiletries included however downfall was only 1 bathsheet .
Furniture in cricket bar/restaurant very tired and worn, although we only stayed 2 nights house keeping didn't go in to empty bins or replenish tea or coffee so a bit of a key down there.
Clean & Professional lots of activities & close to many different areas we explored. 1010 for the price
Nice area around. There is a lake close to the hotel. The room was clean and tidy. There were nice pictures on the walls in the corridors. Black rabbits were jumping through the window view.
The spa closes too early. I arrived on Sunday, and it closed at 4:00 p.m. On weekends, the spa should operate longer. It was a bit difficult to find, as there were a couple of hotels nearby. This automatic check-in system is a bit uncomfortable. The touchscreen doesn't work properly, and it was difficult to tap and to put my signature with my finger.
Didn't have breakfast as £15 is too expensive for a slice of toast and a cup of tea, which is the most I want for breakfast. So I waited until lunch!
A choice of breakfast and prices as in a menu, would've been very welcome.Navigating my way to the correct check in point was a little confusing, although the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Price goodClean
Small rooms
The room was big, clean, the bed was comfortable.
A bit tricky to find the hotel within the complex.
A lovely room, I particularly enjoyed the quiet and dark (no flashing LEDs on smoke alarms to keep you awake). I loved their focus on health, wellbeing and sustainability and felt very relaxed. There was bar food available in the evening, also very nice.
We have stayed here before and we are impressed with the hotel and the facilities.
We had food at the bar 2 drinks and 2 burger and chips. Was not worth the £47 I paid. This is my only issue I had during my stay.
Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Reasonable price.
