The staff are lovely and accomadting. The food is lovely , the breakfast is worthy.

It's a shame we had some of the dated rooms.. however the beds were very comfy

I had a meal in the hotel and it was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the visit, I would definitely stay again in the future

    N/A everything was good.

The staff are very friendly, especially the head day/night manager. The food is very good and the chef very flexible with cooking bespoke requests

The shower needs to be powered , it is just a trickle ..... the double bed isn't a double bed, it is two singles joined together. It makes it quite uncomfortable

Great value hotel, easy parking, friendly helpful reception staff

Good choice for breakfast but a little slow topping up the buffet initially.

    8StephenPosted on: 3-31-2025

Upon arrival I was met by a very cheerful lady who handled my arrival with great professionalism, the room I was allocated was easily found, later in the evening I went to the restaurant and bar again I was met by a happy waiter he saw me to a table of my choosing and brought me my chosen drink while I waited for my work colleague to arrive. For a meeting and dinner, we had a few drinks and enjoyed an excellent meal, served by excellent happy staff. Again at checkout it was a simple process conducted by again a pleasant lady.

Due to the A45 having problematic road works I believe signage on the road and within the grounds would assist visitors.

The room size was very spacious, the food was really good and the staff are friendly. The golf is a bonus and my son loved going to the driving range.

We were very happy with everything

Would have liked a more varied menu

    9DavePosted on: 3-7-2025

All the staff were great, room was good and the food excellent , especially the breakfast .

Nothing worth a mention that would stop us returning

    8ClivePosted on: 3-3-2025

We had lunch on arrival, which was excellent, but the wine list was a bit limited. The room was clean and adequate for an overnight stay. The bathroom was in good order, a weakness in many other hotels. My only point of concern was the sloping roof being a health and safety risk, I lightly touched it with my forehead twice, spotting it a little late. my advice is to move the bed away from that as far as possible, this would mean the bedside table and sockets may need to be moved, so this may need to be planned to fit in with re-decoration. In the meantime, a Stripe could be painted down the edge of the slope to make it more obvious.

Just the health and safety point mentioned above

Everything was great. Checked in online and the receptionist was very helpful. The room was clean and had all the necessary items. We had breakfast and that was very nice.

    Amazing staff

Hotel is tired and dated. Rooms need refreshing and modernising. Poor value for money

    6CharlottePosted on: 2-3-2025

The location and main lobby of the building were charming. The bed was very comfortable.

The hall to the rooms smelled musky and dirty, in need of a general revamp to meet the decor of the main building. The restaurant food was bland and not on par with the price. There was no were sit that was relaxed and cosy with a little ambience.
