    • Very friendly staff, both at the Pub in the evening and the owner in the morning. Tasty english breakfast in the morning and very good food in the evening. Good ales on tab

    Cons -

    • No breakfast, despite it being included in the online booking offer
    • The pub was very loud and the bed was very uncomfortable. The location is mediocre, and checking in was a pain.
    • The room had no window and the door lock lock jamed leaving me trapped in the roon for 15mins or so. I had to use a tea spoon to prise the door lock latch open. This is a real fire hazzard. The TV did not workThen when I went outside in the morning the car nest to mine (the care of another guest) had the passenger window smashed in overnight. The area appeared very rough,

Room No. 9, where we stayed, was very comfortable. The Customer service could not be faulted. The staff, in particular Leoni, went over and above to ensure that our room.was perfect and that we had a good stay.

There was an issue caused by the previous occupant of our originally booked room, which was not the fault of the Inn, and which the staff dealt with promptly and professionally. We were moved to a different room and the staff went over and above to ensure we were happy and comfortable.

It is a walking distance from the train station and close to the central street with all the cafes.

Our room reeked of old booze, our bathroom stank of chlorine (but was clean otherwise). The kid-sized single beds had tired and spotty linen. Expect zero comforts above bare necessities.

Located centrally. Very near the Great Central Railway if you are visiting that. Clean. Good value

The bar manager was really friendly and nice to talk to.

The beds were uncomfortable. One sloped towards the floor. I felt it inappropriate to have small children in the bar area as late as 10.30pm.

Ok for pit stop if I was on my own . But other than that I'd swerve it. Staff ok & helpful ✅Digs ?

    State of it dated asf.

I arrived early, wanted to pop my bag down first, and was allowed to check in early! I was grateful for the early check in, and the staff were lovely. Location was amazing.

Generally walls and ceilings are thin; I could hear occupants from the above room on the second and third day. But it was all right.

Very clean and good location. There was no kitchen so you can’t cook but everything else was very good.

I'm not in the mood to be positive.

I'm righting this after Ok rmidnight & the karoke or the shouting fest is still going on below my room in the pub. My room is directly above the pub. I've been down stairs to complain but the bar staff say their is nothing they can do because they have a license until 00.30.

Room is clean. Good location, close to high street. And welcoming staff

Toilet is not bad, will be a bit busy I the morning

The room was quite compact and bijou the mugs and kettle weren’t cleanWhilst the bathroom floor and toilet were ok Both shower heads were covered in black slime which I did try to clean up but it made me feel quite bilious The check in was ok and the lady was ok too Whilst the room was inexpensive I felt standards should still be kept Thankyou

A lot Maybe try another cleaning company

Check in and out was simple and easy, nice to be shown around.. The lady on the bar was friendly and helpful and explained everything clearly.

I have spoken to the owner, had a small electrical issue some buzzing and especially electrical sounds coming from a socket on the wall, which was a bit worrying. The walls are a little thin so can be quite noisy but hey it's a pub...

    6JustinPosted on: 7-11-2023

The shared bathrooms were recently renovated & clean. Was a bit concerned it would be noisy outside with the window open for the heat, but the rooms were comfortable & decently quiet.

Arrival was a bit off-putting. Couldn’t figure out where to check in. The two entrances were a smoking area and pool table, and one into the bar. I guess the bartender is where one checks in.

    8RichardPosted on: 5-24-2023

This was a clean and comfortable room for a 1 night’s stay. Convenient for the town centre. Free parking too. Reasonable priced drinks in the pub nice and friendly staff.

No breakfast option available (on date of stay).

    10AdamPosted on: 4-24-2023

The room was very clean, the en-suite bathroom was great and it was great being separate from the bar.

Being attached to the pub could cause issues for bookings during busy periods in the week with noise levels and pub goers.
