Elite Athlete Centre and Hotel

I like the location close to my son lodge

staff didnt clean and tidy our room on a daily basis ,we had to request for that on the second day

clean and in a great position if you are visiting the Athletics track or the Uni

choice of food was not good, dinner needed to be booked 2 hours in advance , no bath in room, no pool/gym etc Check in wasnt even entertained when we arrived at 12. the receptionist never even looked at her computer and said "3pm is check in time" To be fair we went away for an hour , and when we came back we got a different lady in reception who was more helpful and checked us in. Hotel is clean and basic.

The staff were friendly and very helpful and accommodating. Evening meal for the first night was excellent and was cooked especially to order.

good hotel in a pinch, clean new and modern

location was hard to find and limited parking

Check in. Helpful staff.

Campus was difficult to get used to, though maps were provided.

Location was perfect for Loughborough university visit.EV charging was easily accessible and a reasonable price.

Breakfast could have been better Quality.Price could have been lower.

Location

The single mattress was the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on, it was well past its usable date!! The breakfast was tasty but the poached eggs were cold.

bed was very uncomfy, no dinner on when we arrived so struggled to get food

the beds and the noise

Modern, spacous rooms, coffee and fridge in the room, very good breakfast, perfect for a visit to Loughborough University

Sound isolation is a bit weak, you hear noise from outside and the corridor but at night it is quiet when all young athletes went to sleep

location, rooms size, breakfast

noisy students

The hotel is set up for athletes and sports persons as it is on campus at the university, Not massive selection for evening meal but places to eat close by if nothing takes your fancy, BUT plenty of choice at breakfast, healthy and traditional options available, the great thing about being on campus is more time to eat breakfast and check out before needing to drive to the destination (we were going to the athletics track) we could just put our things in the car and walk to the track.Staff are really friendly and helpfulAnd there is free car parking available for guests unlike some hotels I have been toA big plus for me is that the room we had, has windows that look straight down the home straight on the athletics track.

bed was quite narrow and hard, and pillows also quite firm, but that is just personal preference

Convenient location

Seems like it’s a good hotel if you are using the facilities but not for business needs. Rooms are basic and are not serviced. You get tea in the room but enough for one cup each day so would’ve been nice if it was replenished. The radiator also didn’t work so the room was freezing during the night and very low in the morning.

Very convenient for my course

Wasn’t made aware of the huge sporting event taking place, sleep was disturbed by very loud people outside at 4am

Everything was lovely, the facilities were good, staff was friendly, and the overall property was clean and well-maintained.

Water bottles could have been included in the room and replaced after each cleaning.

It was okay, felt a bit like student accomodation. Location is great if you have to visit the university. Staff were very helpful

Beds were not very comfortable and a bit small. Bathroom looked like a hospital bathroom. Breakfast was very poor. Overall I found it a bit expensive for what it was.

Large room, convenient location

Beds very narrow

Location perfectStaff very very helpful

Breakfast could have been betterMassive stain on carpet.. like a pot of hot chocolate stain Heater not working

We came for one night prior to a uni interview and everything was good. Great value hotel. Quiet night. Good breakfast. Nice relaxed sporty vibe. Maybe bring your own pillow ? Would come again ...

Breakfast good. Loved the wet room . Very spacious and great location to visit Grandaughter who is on Campus

The Matress on the bed was like a ploughed field, very uncomfortable.

Great location for University visit and to see the vibe of the campus.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable and the pillows were not to my liking, but that is personal preference.
