How helpful and friendly all the staff were, plenty of room in the room, plenty of choice for breakfast as much as you would like, would be happy to stay there again.

The bathroom for disable needs some updating floor when wet slippery and better shower seat.

Location was great for our visit. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great facilities and very clean. Excellent rooms, warm and cosy with all that you need. Excellent breakfast. Good choice of bar meals which were great. Thankyou!!

The staff were friendly and efficient when we spoke to them. The beds were clean and comfortable. The rooms were warm and had openable windows to cool down when needed.Breakfast was well cooked.

There were no staff available on reception/front desk after 11pm. The people in the next room controlled our TV as well as their own, changing the channel, turning it on and off and showing us their netflix login etc because the TVs are back to back and use the same remotes.There was no bin in our room for rubbish. The menu is available in the room but there needs to be a separate, reduced menu that clearly displays only the room service options and clearly states what time these options are available. The formatting in the existing document is very hard to see properly and contains no timing to show what is available when.The shower mat was stained in a number of places and covered in black mould underneath. Shower head broken and leaked when used.The accessible wet room style shower did not drain well and soaked the entire room floor, almost getting into the main room as the door slides and does not come to the floor. The people in the next room started up all night until 5am arguing and there was no one on the front desk to report to.Missing serving utensils and no milk in the coffee machine by 9am at breakfast.

Really lovely staff, room very clean and comfy.

Hotel is very tired and needs a spruce up.

Lovely clean and spacious room. We were there for 2 nights, room only. Very competitive for the area. Location excellent for a shopping trip into Sheffield. Dove toiletries supplied. Good tea and coffee tray with Biscoff biccies! Loads of parking. Reception staff were warm and welcoming and very chatty which was lovely. A truly Yorkshire style welcome from the staff!

It is a great location just off the m1, Me and my daughter had a lovely time and the breakfast was lovely. It was nice being greeted by Martha who is such a nice person. We both would love to come again soon and hopefully see Martha again

There was no heating and a very inadequate heater provided. The forgotten room was like it had been rented for the first night in 5 years. Mound covered bathroom it was a very unpleasant stay

Passable

There was an event on and after returning from a meeting with friends it was Impossible vle to find a parking space. Finally found it near the sports centre next door. It was absolutely ripping it down. That is pretty much all I can remember about the stay. The staff were abrupt and unhelpful.

Breakfast was ok but both coffee machines were not usable.one just stopped and other needed descaling

Some rooms are a little tired although clean.

There were positive things about the trip. Staff are excellent, reception and dining areas excellent and the breakfast was good. Location is really good.

My daughters room had a commode in there that was a bit off putting and also had a hair on it. Her shower didn’t work. (My room was fine) We reported blood found on a stairwell window in the evening which was still there the following morning. On the top floor there was a sanitary towel left discarded. There is no signage encouraging guests to be considerate during unsociable hours and I had two nights disturbed sleep due to music and general rowdiness. There was an event on the second night which apparently we should have been informed about but weren’t. You can’t hear this on the second floor but on the first floor the room vibrates. The general commotion of everyone going to bed was also disruptive. If we had been informed, we would have made other arrangements. I had a long drive on checkout day and needed a sleep! We probably dropped unlucky but as there were a few issues, possibly indicates a bit more attention to the unexpected, (checking corridors on nights of events for instance) and not just planning for the expected would have helped.

Comfortable bed, staff couldn’t do enough for you.

Good room. Bath with plenty of hot water. Nice staff.

Staff at reception was excellent nothing too much, bars were closed and no clear signage directing me to the toilets.

Breakfast was very disappointing, most of the trays were empty. So having paid for a full breakfast I certainly did not get that. Fried eggs had been out for hours and like rubber. If I was to return to holiday inn again I would not pay for a breakfast if this is the standard.

Warm hotel

Not enough information regarding the nightly information on the Friday and Saturday nights. I was only made aware of the Friday nights music and the fact that loud music would be on until the early hours. Also the music was far too loud in room 103. Would suggest extra sound proofing

The decor was quite good.

Noisy disco interfered with our sleep.The staff weren’t friendly. The food was poor, limited choice, some items weren’t available.

The staff are super helpful and friendly, location perfect just off the motorway and quiet.
