Friendly staff
Hadn’t been modernised - no usb/c sockets. Beds moved. Lack of signage
The main hotel, little chapel and grounds are all stunning
Our room was in desperate need of an update, decor was out dated and bathroom suit had an intermittent shower.
The main hotel looked good Event was excellent
Stayed in bungalow Noisy heater which clicked all night - had to turn it offExpensive for basic room
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Walking outside 3 times to get to and from the actual hotel whilst dressed for an event. Annexe needs covering completely against weather. Price of room was ridiculous for what it was, £137 and no breakfast. TV was the size of a postage stamp.
The gym was really nice, one of the best I’ve ever been to at a hotel.
This company hates booking.com!When I arrived they said I had to pay £20 to use the leisure industries! That night and in the morning!£40 to go to the gym and then use the swimming pool in the morning! They tried to get me to cancel booking.com and they wanted me to pay them direct so I then I wouldn’t have to pay the £40 and they would give me breakfast!I’ve never in my life had such a shock. This hotel is the Ryanair of hotels! The rooms were tired and old fashioned too.Never ever again!I asked to see the manager but never heard anything
Very freindly helpful staff.Clean rooms.
Poor lighting in the room where the dressing table is to get ready.
Lovely clean and comfortable stay, with charming friendly and helpful staff
There is nothing negative to say about the property
Don’t think we would stay...
Breakfast not included and pricey if you wanted it , McDonalds down the road. Bed very uncomfortable for us but might be ok for other people. Could hear music from the wedding even though we was in a different building
Lovely main area
The breakfast was too early, the windows were old and insecure, the carpet was old and the furniture was too in the bedroom.
Came for a wedding. The rooms used for wedding were lovely.
Outdated & overpriced. Poor quality breakfast!
only my husband had breakfast which he enjoyed
the reception wasnt overly friendly
Visited for a wedding, fantastic venue with all facilities convenient and good quality
Standard of bedroom, not at the level expected
Here for a wedding. Lovely room and facilities. Bed very comfy. Staff pleasant
Nothing - all good
Staff, breakfast, room size all good
Bed too small, only a double in a superior room is not good enough. Shower room was big but the shower cubicle was too small.
It was a lovely hotel .very quiet
It was quite hot when we was there .i like the heat, but the room was very hot and even with the windows open it was to hot for our lass..also there are no blinds ,we were on the ground floor so had to have curtains drawn or anyone walking past would see in .
The staff were helpful and pleasant
The room was noisy due to service vehicles and service traffic such as laundry trollies passing very very close to the window. The room smelled strongly of powdered carpet cleaner and the shower had black mould in it and the bed was rock hard.
Nice room and clean
Was ignored at reception trying to check out. By the fourth phone call being ignored I interrupted and asked if I could leave room card. I work in customer service always deal with the person in front of you before a phone call!!
