Albert and Victoria Hotel

I was upgraded. The room had a microwave and a fridge which made it easier for meals. The view was fabulous.

We had a great few days here. The location was fantastic the room was clean and comfortable but a bit dated. Good value for money.

The smell of the bedding was incredible!!!

I sent an email asking what detergents they used for said bedding and did not get a response!!!.

The beds were not comfy and the windows were draughty

The hotel is in a good location. Manage to park on the grounds too.

Cobwebs in room which didn't bother us but the bed was really uncomfortable

Shower came off wall asked twice about it. He said do it tomorrow had to beg for towels and toilet roll .Couldn't put anything on shelf in very small bathroom because just fell off .

Close to amenities and entertainment , hotel clean and staff helpful, it's a wee bit run down but it's an old building to be fair but could b better with some TLC

Location good but across the road lots off bikers meet up every night ,if you like the noise off roaring motor bikes then fine it's horrendous and that's the truth

The room was not cleaned once in 5 days nor was our rubbish taken ,it was piled up in a cupboard under the sink when we left which is ridiculous

The bed was nearly to the floor which made it very difficult getting in and out of especially as we are both nearly 70 !!!! the mattress was extremely uncomfortable you could feel all the springs could definitely do with a new mattress. There was no fridge but in the facilities it said there was we took food with us as it said there was a fridge.

Nicely located within walking distance of the town centre. The room was nice & a decent sized ensuite with shower.

Not suitable for people with disabilities such as climbing steps Although a few steps they are kind of high. The bed was 2 singles pushed together but the mattresses were spring ones so quite uncomfortable, It had so-called BT wifi but speeds were extremely slow max 0.4 Mbps had to use mobile data to watch tv as signal through freeview was constantly being interrupted.
