Please read all the low reviews (do not relly on the average). This looked nothing like the pictures, there were bloodstains on the bed, the room was very dirty, the shower was very old and dirty as well. It was really cold in the room, the walls are paper thin and there was a weird smell in the hallways. The water was barely running. We did not stay at this place due to all of the above.

Nice staff but a halfway...

Was told by a resident that he just came out of prison and this was used as a half way house. Also everyone we spoke too said it was unsafe due to drugs and other sexual services going on their. We didn't have any money to move hotels but we spoke to the owners who were nice enough but the room was very small, bed really uncomfortable with dirty sheets, and a broken light socket which was unsafe. We did have a front room with kitchenette but no crockery and with broken sofas.

Excellent stay – highly recommended!I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. The location was quiet and convenient, and it felt like great value for money. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The location also feels a bit remote, and I’m not sure why there are so many speed bumps on the road leading in, which makes driving less comfortable

Couldn't turn the heating down in the room, one of the bedroom windows was cracked and there was no space at the sides of the double bed which was also only a small double not a full double

Staff were very good. I was upgraded from a single to a double room for no charge. Rooms were clean and tidy. Carpark outside the hotel was safe. Price of the room for the night was excellent as other hotels in the city centre were at least twice the price.

No food or bar at the hotel which was a little strange as it is a converted pub.

Outside of the hotel there were people smoking which i agree was acceptable but they did make us feel unfortunate and it wasn't normal tobacco! The checking wasn't smooth as there was a language barrier and it was more of a table with a bit of tinsel on it. We finally got our rooms, a double for 2 and a single for me. The room had a not very nice smell! I couldn't really figure out what the smell was but it was soon very apparent that we would not be staying there. My curtains were held together by a bit of tape so they didn't close. A dirty extension lead was connected to a kettle. A phone call to my sister made a very quick decision "we are not staying here" I have used booking.com for years and have never had to complain about any booking! The rooms were not as described and it felt we were in an asylum hotel. We left within minutes and decided to drive home and not drink. It spoilt our day with my niece in her new home. I wish I had taken photos but it was just get me out of here!

The receptionist was really friendly and welcoming, offering me chocolates upon entry and checked me in within seconds of arriving. The room was immaculate. It sounds a bit bad but I was expecting a really dirty hotel room with a shared bathroom down to the price however I was proven so wrong. The room was very spacious, very clean, big double bed, mini fridge, microwave and my own bathroom. Spaces to hang clothes up to. I had to ask if I can check out at any time in the morning as I had to be up and out at 6:30am and I could check out at any time. Instead of ringing the bell and waking someone up to check me out I decided to just leave my key card with the posted note on with my name and room.I really will be returning here and I'd highly recommend if you need a fairly priced room.

Wasn't a huge issue but the fan noise in the bathroom was a little loud and so was the mini fridge but it didn't cause any problems.

The number one reason that made every part of this hotel worth every penny is their staff. Umair the receptionist that took the meaning of hospitality to another level. I have never encountered a more attentive, helpful, respectful person that couldnt of made us feel comfortable. I cannot thank him enough for such a lovely experience.

Bed bugs in my room, have come back and broken out around body.

The room was clean, it was close to the trainstation and has free parking on site.

The outside is very run down and doesnt give a great first impression. It could do with some maintenence on the outside. The lamps in the room didnt work so we either had to have the main light on all the time.or sit in darkness. The lamps turned on with the main light but wouldnt stay on on their own.

Very welcoming/friendly staff, secure, bathroom, comfy beds, warm, etc.

Room was excellent with everything you could need with the addition of a mini fridge and microwave that were an added bonus and a seating area also with comfy sofas
