The warm welcome we received at reception. Our room was very clean and was comfortable.

The remote control on the tv was a bit hit and miss

Staff were 1st class could it have been more helpful . The extra mile from 1 staff member in particular.

The music from the bar was just about audible so just a tad quieter perhaps?

Great location, almost all the staff were pleasant and helpful. Awesome carvery and really nice rooms * More than happy with my choice and the plus points far outweighed any negatives.

Don't expect onsite parking, only about 6-8 spaces at the rear and during my stay there was never any space. * Water pressure in my room was poor and being at the front of the hotel the road noise was intrusive but offset by it being in a central location so if you can a room at the rear would be quieter.

Break fast although plenty full... n fresh was only just warm ..just disappointed we didnt complain even though the lovely man asked was everything ok..to soft

Cleanliness, location and friendly staff

Limited parking spaces. Alternative parking at sister hotel was complicated due to wi-fi/parking website issues, but was kindly resolved by front of house staff

Amazing hotel. Clean, comfortable and staff are amazing. We stayed for our anniversary. Lovely surprise when we checked in, bed full of petals and an anniversary brownie. We were also given free entry to the show that was on at the night time. We will definitely be booking again

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the bed was so comfortable a huge queen size bed sublime.

The position of the toilet was a bit cramped. But that was still ok and usable.

Very modern and spacious rooms, staff are so friendly. Parking at the back. Added extras if you are celebrating an occasion.

The room was fine, bathroom was clean and functional. Staff were ok, location was good. Food at the pub downstairs was good (esp on a monday night in Winter when everything else was closed). Parking was good - but not free - it was 5 quid a night but gave us till midday the day of checkout which was good - only a few spots so restricted if busy.

Loads of stairs to access reception and rooms (no lift), noisy if you on the main street, lots of sirens and I imagine very noisy in Summer. Only gave us 1 key card for three of us. We were only staying one night so grabbed our stuff for overnight as we'd been travelling for a month and had large luggage - no space in the room for 3 adult's bags.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean room with comfortable beds. The bar/restaurant area had a nice atmosphere

The hotel was very clean and well presented, its location is fantastic.

Parking is limited, but we were fortunate enough to get a space, in busier times this could be a problem. However I have to say this is only an observation and was not a problem.

Facilities were geat room spacious and really well equipped. Staff friendly and helpful

Needs some serious updating.Bathroom light broke and not working. Bathroom window held closed with toilet paper. Big draft still coming through which made the room freezing. Also meant you couldn't open the window. Shower also broken

Everything was really good, great location in the top end of Southport.

Only the bathroom had a problem, there was a small glass shelf opposite to the toilet so when walking in you could take your eye out if you didn’t pay attention, reported to the hotel too!
