    • We love the staff we love the breakfast we love bar area
    • Good position. Most of room fine.
    • It's a very lovely place staff very friendly hotel is very nice i would stay again

    Cons -

    • As it was valentines I ordered a nicer room with a balcony it wasn't cheap and it did not enclode breakfast so I paid extra for breakfast when we went to other look on the balcony the whole balcony whilst full of pigeon poo which I had to wipe myself and then the roof had come away and was hanging down we did not go onto the balcony as it wasn't very nice to sit there I have photos of the roof and the pigeon muck and I just wished I would have picked a normal room we have stayed there a few times and it has always been pleasant but for what I paid it was a disappointment and I don't think we will be rushing back when down the road there was another lovely hotel which we have booked for my birthday in march I would have come back to the Vincent if I had no have been disappointed with the room we had
    • Room wasn't overly warm. TV too small and should have Netflix option. Moreover options on breakfast menu. Scrambled egg was sloppy.
    • Tv could of been bigger and more advanced that is the only thing I can think of

Nice and clean the heating hadnt been on so the room was 13 degrees took about an hour for the heating to kick in. No vegetarian/vegan options at breakfast which is unheard if nowadays Other than that everything was great

No vegan or vegetarian options for breakfast

Great location and the food in the bistro was excellent

The beds!!!!!! 2 beds pushed together and at different levels. Could be a lot better

    8GeoffPosted on: 2-7-2026

Everything was very good, from reception to the room, the cocktail bar was excellent except the Guinness was served from a can but priced as draft, not so good.

The lighting in the room was very low, giving my partner a problem with hair and makeup,

The staff are welcoming and friendly. The Café and restaurant provides a good varied menu and the food was to a high standard. How are the Hotel advertises itself as having a gym but for over a year now the one treadmill has not been working and more recently been removed. Therefore there is neither a treadmill nor an exercise bike in the small gym area. Therefore, if having a gym play a part in your choice of hotel, then sadly I would not recommend the Vincent. An email today from the manager says they cannot afford to replace the treadmill.

The Hotel advertise is having a gym but for the last year there has been no working treadmill.

Very helpful, responsive staff. Very clean and well equipped room. Nicely kept. Breakfast good.

Room dark with no make-up lighting. Pillows too big, but that’s a personal preference.

Overall great experience, trouble free check-in, staff great, room perfect, breakfast and restaurant excellent.

    Limited on street parking.

    9KirstyPosted on: 2-2-2026

The lighting and ambience is nice, but it’s hard to do make up etc with the smoked mirrors. Even the bathroom is a bit dark with the lighter mirror.

It was a lovely hotel, spotlessly clean . Staff helpful .Lovely hot ,powerful shower. Bedromm great . Comfy bed .Everything in your room ( internet wasnt good) Breakfast was fantastic ,someone for everyone . I loved the continental. Fiance loved the cooked. Eggs being made to order was a special bonus. Great staff

Evening menu. ..on the two for £35 poor choice gnocchi or steak frites. Veggie menu not good so we ate outside the hotel.Wasnt warned about a £50 damages deposit.Wrong coffee pods in the room, which was rectified

Nice and clean very relaxed atmosphere

Room 404 is across from the cleaners room and you could hear them talking all the time.Prices are quite dear for parking £20 Didn't like the fact we where told if we ate in the restaurant we would get a discount for staying but went to pay and didn't also service charge had been added without them saying. On checkout the receptionist tried to charge £25 for late checkout which we never had has checkout was 11am anyway.Got charged £10.50 for a large glass of coke!!!!They had magazines for you to read as you entered the bar area but was shocked to find adult material on top shelf which is surprising in a 4 star hotel.Room was lovely apart from dirty windows

We stay at the Vincent every year and were lucky enough to be upgraded to the Penthouse which was a lovely surprise. We ordered breakfast for room service and it was delicious, a real treat.

Cool vibe. Good location, fabulous food.

Bath should have just been a shower tray.

    10JuliePosted on: 1-19-2026

The staff were very friendly. The room was really big although the bathroom was a little small. Great location. The breakfast was really good & hot.

Having to climb up a step into the bath for the shower

    All round great hotel

No sockets by bedside tables so couldnt use my sleep therapy machine. and the coffee machine in room was not working properly. Second one is being picky. I can survive without coffee

    1TrevorPosted on: 1-18-2026

The location and the staff is good

The room was NOT cleaned during our stayWe found an earring under the edge of the bed when I gave it to reception they said “they had been looking for it for a previous guest “Maybe they simply needed to look!!!

    10WendyPosted on: 1-14-2026

Loved the spacious rooms and bathrooms and fridge in the room to keep drinks cold for taking meds.

Needs a mirror above the dressing table and better lighting in that area to be able to apply make up better and do hair.
