Big comfortable bed. Was clean .nice and warm

A shame they don't offer breakfast. Tv could of been bigger

How fast things are ran in the restaurant couldn’t fault the staff in anyway, there was some noise from other occupants and it was sorted within 1 minute of being on the phone to reception

The floors and tv in the bedroom the Ariel wasn’t working for £120 you should at least have the tv on

The restaurant was amazing. The room itself was satisfactory.

Reception staff wasn’t very helpful, kettle was full of stagnant water, lack of towels, no toiletries, or teabags to go with stagnant water filled.

The heating continued through the power cut

No one in reception and no bell or phone to call anyone. Contact info sheets left on desk still there on leaving after 1 night gdpr issue. No breakfast didn’t know on booking lack of evening food due to a power cut. Booked a table but told to queue. Fixtures very tired. Mattress needed changing bedding not the best but the water was hot

The rooms are excellent value. The shower is great.It's well worth the moderate prices they charge.The restaurant is excellent. Top quality food very good prices. Staff very good.I stayed there for 43 weekks (not weekends) cannot find fault, very happy.

Nothing excellent value.

Staff were friendly, room was clean

No breakfast included, bar closed at 9.30pm, shower head blocked so poor spray, no shower gel, 3 paper thin pillows between 2 people. Bed very uncomfortable and very very creaky.

The restaurant was fantastic we had evening meal and were served quickly food was freshly cooked and tasted amazing

Convenient location

Place very dated and scruffy. Check in unattended, had to hunt for someone to check me in.

We booked honeymoon suite Shower and bathroom great.Bath in bedroom great except tall tap needs fitted properly as it was on a slant.Room could do with a spruce up as it was dated and furniture marked .Restaurant absolutely cracking.. food unreal!

Beautiful property.. nice grounds , near main road a little noisy, Hotel suite nice size spaces , roll top bath adds romance to the room

The room was in great need of TLC , furniture very dated, curtain missing leaving just one side , scorch mark on bedside cabinet bedside lamp missing, the other one broken, kettle needed descaling still had water in from previous guests.. one of the bath towels had a big rip , shaving light bulb was missing, Roll top bath standing tap was in need of repair , handed been cleaned lime scale and corrosion… Was told at reception it had been cleaned, smelt a little , needed widow opened, then there was noise from the road .. It was a romantic stay , we were let down ..

It’s located next to a very bizzy road, needed some ear plugs!Bed was very bad in room 4 Payed for two nights but left to go to the premier inn on the second night, a better nights sleep at last,

Its difficult to give a full review of the Windmill hotel, as I didn't end up staying. The wasn't anyone at the reception - just an air horn to summon staff. A notice sellotaped to the counter advising guests that abuse/shouting at staff would not be tolerated; prompting the questions how many people feel the need to complain that vociferously at the staff, and why? Dirty pillows, dirty bathroom. Fan heater for warmth. I stayed as long as it took me to book another room at the Travelodge, and left my keys at the reception, because there was still no staff. Car park was good though.

We didn't come here for the accommodation but rather the restaurant (Sambuca) the hotel side was a bonus. The hotel side is basic and a little tired but clean enough and serves its purpose as pit stop. Room facilities are a mix of could do better and oh that's nice eg full size ironing board and iron, and full size kettle. Could do better - tv and Internet connection failed, no hangers.In conclusion would I stay here again if I was returning to the restaurant- likely otherwise not a destination hotel. Staff were lovely got to say.
