The Eccleston Hotel; BW Signature Collection

Ive stayed with Eccleston loads of time, we stayed in the suiet, the room is gorgeous, we really like it in there.

The staff came to the room and accused me and my boyfriend for smoking. I do not smoke my partner does, but did it outside but accused of doing in the room. They asked us to leave or they was guna ring the police I was mortified as ive stayed here loads of times just thought I was treated with utter disrespect and I was told I cant book here again. Just felt absolutely disregarded as a loyal customer.

We could not regulate our shower to a comfortable water temperature. It was piping hot and we couldn’t get any response from the control knobs to get a useable water temperature. Water pressure was good.

Good location nice pub on ground floor with tasty food and good menu choices.

Some confusion at check in and room set up for single occupancy when we booked as couple.

Lovely hotel lovely comfortable beds

No hand towels left in our room or toilet rolls and the tea coffee milks etc were not topped up, I had to go down in the morning to try to get some toilet rolls and hand towels which wasn't ideal. Sunday lunch would of got 5 stars but they run out of Yorkshire pudding never explained or appologised and put a half on each plate and none on the small meals and forgot roast potatoes on one .

Power intermittent in the room, so lights kept going on and off. Lightshades didn't fit bedside lamps. Curtains let in a lot of light as didn't fit against the window recess enough. No hot water whatsoever. Constant beeping outside the room throughout whole night. Breakfast was poor

Breakfast was fantastic, staff told us to help ourselves if we wanted anything else. St Helens is a lovely place to stay lots of shops and pubs but quite rural. I would definitely stay here again. Loved the hotel was made to feel special.

We had room 1. The cctv beeped every minute. It was located next to our room. After while is was just a noise but when you woke up in the night it was annoying

We got a very warm welcome on arrival our room was beautiful and very clean so was the bathroom bed was so comfortable had a great night's sleep food was to die for really good value for money all the staff were lovely will definitely stay here again

Room was well decorated, clean and spacious.

Bathroom needed an up grade as some of the fittings were loose and damaged

Comfy beds, tea and coffee. Evening meal and breakfast were lovely. Staff superb and helpful.

Bathroom smelt room 3 drains/sewage problems it was quite bad. Room 3 thankfully we were at family most of the time. Would book again but not that room. Would upgrade hoping for a nicer smell

It was a really comfy bed & very warm & cosy.

The first room was dirty & very noisy from extractor fans from the kitchen. The second was much better however it was still sort of dirty wasn't hoovered properly & makeup stains on the floor & very rusty towel rail.

Very nice, helpful staff, room was very clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was excellent.

I was stopping in room 3 on my stay and unfortunately the hotel had guests in room 2 and were very loud, playing loud music until 1 am, so I didn't get a brilliant night's sleep after a long day doing my work as a mobile service tech. Suggest the hotel make sure all guests respect and act accordingly towards other guests. I stopped at this hotel on 17.12.25.

Very nice and cosy hotel. Spacious rooms, sufficient parking facilities, nice restaurant/ bar. Good breakfast. But the atmosphere was the best part.

I stayed at Eccleston Hotel to attend a funeral for a dear family member. The hotel hosted the wake as well. I can't express enough my gratitude to Anne and her team for supportinng my family in an extraordinarily difficult period. Everybody was so attentive, but delicate with what was a big gathering of people paying their respects and honour in a tragic situtation. I can't commend them enough. It's clearly a location that is a strong environment for people to come together socially and celebrate life and joy. I commend them and recommend to all looking for warm and attentive care while travelling.FYI...Annie if you see this...it's your guy with the head bands you had a late night drink with with.

Very friendly welcome. Great staff. Good food. Comfortable and quiet rooms. Excellent place to stay.

Great place location ,room ,staff all top dollar hence the 9 score, only reason I dont give a 10 score is if you give this mark you can only go down which you guys defo dont deserve ,but with a 9 score you can go up
