- the last room I was in looked big but had a very small table and very to little decorations to give it a good sense and good atmosphere the shower is not so helpful that I could not put any essentials like shampoo anywhere and had to bend all the way down to grab the shampoo back it needs some small renovation for future visitors.

The hotel is located on the cliff within easy walk of the beach and the pier. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace with the sea view. It is an old fashioned-feeling place that fits the vibe of Bournemouth. A nice place for a few days. We liked the restaurant and the terrace a lot, imagining Tolkien there, along with Steve the sea gull.
Friendliness of staff and location
Shower in room was awful. Reception staff said they were aware that this facility in our particular room was known to be poor and plans were to make changes to improve.
The Miramar is in a gorgeous location on East Cliff with a beautiful terraced garden overlooking the sea. We took most of our meals at the hotel and were impressed by the food but perhaps most of all by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We'll definitely be back.
An elegant hotel building and grounds offering much character and charm. Great location close to the sea and pier (& elsewhere). Room very spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed the cooked breakfast and dinner.
Nothing significant enough to comment on.
Saffron on reception really helpful. All the staff were great. Lovely breakfast . We upgraded our room and were very pleased
Great location. Well kept hotel with excellent staff. Good selection of food on the menu inthe main restaurant. Down side breakfast only included if you booked with the hotel direct and parking not free for booking. Com on their web site.
Location is great with plenty of parking, staff , Hotel very good.
The Bed, hard and uncomfortable.
very good
staff very good The hotel service was excellent. On the night we stayed, there was actually a party downstairs with loud music. However, I reported the situation to the staff, and they handled it very quickly with a great attitude. After returning to our room, they even called to inform us that they had asked for the music volume to be lowered. The next morning, they provided our entire family with complimentary breakfast, apologized again for the previous night’s incident, and even gave us a discount on our room rate.I highly recommend this hotel—my kids loved it, and I will definitely stay here again!
The first impression from outside and walking in was lovely. Reception area was warm and friendly.
The room did not match the interior of the rest of the hotel. It was large, but had very little/small furniture that did not fit the space at all. It felt very bland, plain, and not warm and cosy like the common areas of the hotel. We also found a one of our pillow cases to be filthy.
Breakfast was nice but very small I missed mushrooms
Vegetarian breakfast was very small for the money
Wonderful staff. Excellent location. Amazing views.
Beds too hard.
I found the night staff were absolutely brilliant, but the manager of the hotel was a very rude. When I had a complaint about my room being hot. And the food not being piping hot.
It’s the sixth time we’ve stayed at the Miramar because we’ve always been treated as people rather than customers. The staff have gone out of their way to make our stay as pleasurable as possible and we hope to return next year for our short break after winter.
Friendly staff
Room and floor stunk of smoke, was really noisy from downstairs at 6am.
Paying 140 a night i would expect more than 1 bottle of water in the room between 2 of us, the band or music that was playing the night we stayed kept us both awake until it finished as we could hear it through the floor
Lovely staff and nice facilities very spacious lounge areas
Parking £15. Absolutely ridiculous. Really annoys me that this isn’t clear on booking through booking.com but apparently if you book direct it’s much cheaper. Just feels like a scam.
A very nice hotel, clean spacious and well kept
I felt some aspects could maybe do with refresh, the bathroom in our room was very clean and fit for purpose but maybe could do with a refresh
