    Pros +

    • I loved the room the bed was so comfortable and laying in bed looking out to that sea view was absolutely lovely and going on to the balcony was very nice too great views
    • Nice family run hotel. Good car parking space.
    • The view amazing

    Cons -

    • The shower getting the temperature right was a bit of hit and miss but wasnt a major problem
    • Would prefer the complimentary room biscuits to be individually wrapped not losely put in a tin.
    • I didn’t get my £5 off then when left charged for parking asked to take £5 away they said they couldn’t asked for a coffee to take away I couldn’t do that so what was the point in not having room cleaned very disappointed for the money spent for 2 days I come Bournemouth weekend following and stayed at another hotel was half the price indoor pool and spa parking £12 for weekend great value off money

I did get help but with so many parties going on the other guests were left behind

No food and no heated pool

    6KlaudiaPosted on: 11-21-2025

Nice location. Had a pool. The staff was nice.

The pool was very cold and there was a weird smell on the corridors. Maybe as it is an old building but one could never feel complete cleanliness. The car park has to be accessed from a totally different road. There should be information sent out for the car park postcode before arrival

    10HanyPosted on: 11-19-2025

    Excellent location and staff

Small room with no air condition

    2UlsiPosted on: 11-19-2025

    Not happy

Its too old and not really worth of money! They have advertising as free parking and you face a high bill! Im not really happy either that!

    6SiobhanPosted on: 11-8-2025

Location was great, short walk to the beach.

Parking was limited and awkward. The bathroom was essentially in a cupboard in the bedroom with a sliding door, you could practically wash your hands from the bed. All the floors creaked and decor was old fashioned. Lifts were slow and clunky. We were told that they wouldn't cook us anything for breakfast when we got there at 9.55am as the kitchen was now 'shut' and had already started clearing away the buffet so a limited offering.

    7VickiPosted on: 11-5-2025

    Great location with fabulous views

Constant interruptions at the door. Service not as good as on previous visits

    8KatherinePosted on: 10-27-2025

An excellent location and our sea view room was sunny and warm. Lovely friendly and welcoming staff, everyone single one we interacted with was so kind and cheerful. We had our dog with us which was such fun and there was a Dance event in the hotel which made for wonderful people watching!

Creaky old corridors and paper thin walls, but to stay in an old building with such history we don’t expect sound proofing! Single beds are very narrow and we had asked for a large double but sadly had 2 tiny singles, it didn’t really matter but would have been nice.

    8GordonPosted on: 10-27-2025

Staff very polite and amenable. Food was of a high standard.

Tea/coffee provisions in the room need to be augmented with decaf options and perhaps hot chocolate.

    2MatthewPosted on: 10-25-2025

Like the view from the room

We didn’t like there was a surprise parking charge of 15 pounds per night. We didn’t like how uncomfortable the bed was.. we didn’t like the room was really dirty. The bathroom was also dirty.

    9MichaelPosted on: 10-25-2025

    Staff & location are great.

Food not so good, ended up eating out most days. Room with balcony was disappointing. Chairs had to be turned to face each other as no room to sit facing the sea

    8SusanPosted on: 10-19-2025

Comfortable bed and reasonnable breakfast.Excellent location

Bathroom was very outdated. Terrible shower.Appeared dirty 6 but probably just worn out.

    10JuliePosted on: 10-10-2025

Stayed in a sea view room with balcony. Balcony chairs reclined so we could sit back and look at the amazing views over the sea. Staff very friendly, discount at the bar if opted out of daily housekeeping ( could get top ups at reception when needed), secure car park, well maintained hotel and option to pay as you go or pay at the end of stay for any purchases.

Was advertised as beachfront which is why I booked it as my partner has a bad back and struggles to walk long distances. To get to the beach you have to walk down some steps and down quite a long slope which wasn’t too bad going there but the walk back up was very painful for the other half.

    10BarbaraPosted on: 10-8-2025

The room was perfect lovely view of the pier and the ocean and a balcony which the weather did not allow us to use unfortunately

Location was great for a walk to the pier

    1SanPosted on: 10-6-2025

    Terrible

Staff made me go down to get tiny tube of toothpaste and charged me £2 for the displeasure after having spent £110 a night for the room.

    8GuyPosted on: 10-5-2025

A very large room with a great view

An older facility that was more like a nursing home than a hotel.

    7GarthPosted on: 10-5-2025

Location on the seafront was excellent. Great secure parking.

5% service charge on every order was excessive. Pull out sofa bed for our son was uncomfortable, thin mattress and springs digging through. We made it back into a sofa and he slept on that.Restaurant was closed to us as only for pre booking but we hadn't been told that so no opportunity to pre book.
