Bedroom was OK
Bed was hard and noise from car park and the bar was noisy that it woke me up and television was stuck on one channel.
Warm pub and welcome good food and beer
No problems all good
Staff and room decor
Food overpriced and small portions and overcooked. Breakfast finished at 9.30am on a Sunday which seemed a little unreasonable.
great staff, lovely setting, food was a very good standard and choice. Rooms quiet and comfortable
It was great nothing to dislike
Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Very hot water (for all you wet shavers). Beautiful meal in the restaurant
A minor point - we booked the small double room and it was exactly that. If you are of the 'large' variety this is NOT the room for you. The heated towel rail (which get very hot) is right by the toilet, so make sure your towels are on the rail before positioning yourself on the throne! There's no blind in the bathroom and even the the window is obscured...it doesn't leave much to the imagination if your sat in the carpark!
The food was very good, staff very pleasant
One of the mattresses in Room 18 was very uncomfortable as it had a huge ridge in it. Staff informed who was very apologetic and agreed it wasn’t up to there standard and would pass it on.
Staff were friendly Breakfast was very good plenty of choice. Room was comfortable plenty of space. We had an evening meal a bit pricey but very very good.
Such welcoming and helpful staff. Had an evening mea at the Thatch Innl which was delicious. Good selection at breakfast in the morning. Room had everything we needed and was quiet.
The mattress was to soft so we didnt sleep particularly well, but that is a personal opinion and others may say the mattress was fine.
Breakfast was very good and good quality. The evening meal meal we had was also very good. Highly recommended. Staff very friendly and courteous.

Location
The bedroom was situated opposite the entrance and exit and it did not stop .. the banging made it feel someone was entering my room none stop. Through the night a strong wind was making it shake too. Was an awful experience .So much so I paid for breakfast and left as I was so tired and just wanted out of there. I tried speaking to someone and no one was available to speak to me
Good location, nice food but on the more expensive side
The staff were friendly and the pub was close to the venue we needed to visit at the weekend. The bed was comfortable. Linen and towels were also good.
Breakfast had a good selection, however the coffee was limited and also not particularly good. The bar ran out of ice on a Saturday night which is not brilliant! Toiletries were sub standard for a 4 star rating. Carpets could do with a good clean.
Location and staff were brilliant, food was fantastic.
Bed was a bit soft so ended up with back ache in the morning.
Great breakfast and friendly staff
All the doors and stairs to reach our roomPlus room was quite small and hard to manoeuvre bags.
Good clean simple single room
Kept asking for payment but paid through Booking. Com
Clean and staff were friendly.
Room was smaller than the expected
Ticked all the boxes for our short stay - comfortable, clean and close to where we wanted to be for our function we were attending.
