    Pros +

    • Almost eyerything really. The decor was contemporary, the room was spacious, the bed was massive and so comfortable, the coffee pod machine was lovely. The standalone bath and separate shower and in-house toiletries were luxurious.
    • The room was great; the bed was very comfortable; the bathroom in the room is amazing. The best hotel room we have stayed in Leicester.
    • What a beautiful hidden gem. Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Great location, ample parking, comfortable bed, lovely cosy room.Reception is across the road, and the gentleman on the desk was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and will be staying again for sure.

    Cons -

    • The Dyson fan was not efficient enough for very the hot day that passed; it had to be set on full power to keep the room cool through the night but that meant excessive fan noise. Given global warming, it will become necessary to install hot+cool air con in the very near future.
    • Would be great to have a bar within the hotel
    • The only thing i found inconvenient was that the shelf over the sink in the bathroom covers almost the entire sink, and it's very difficult to wash my face and brush your teeth.

Proximity to burial place of King Richard lll. Amenities so close by. Friendly people in the street and shops!!

    Location and parking. Friendly staff

We've stayed before and always struggle to locate the car park. Would prefer to collect the key from the hotel building rather than over the road.

The furnishings were very modern and high quality and the bed was comfortable. Addition of a Nescafé coffee machine is nice and the room was cleaned to a great standard each day. Equally the property is in the nicest part of Leicester city centre so a short walk to nice eateries etc. Parking included is also a bonus. Water pressure was great in the shower.

The room was absolutely boiling, we were provided an additional Dyson fan to the one already in the room but do note that there is no air conditioning. It was hotter in the room than it was outside which made the first night quite unbearable, the double room bed feels small when it’s that hot. We did try to upgrade to a bigger room but unfortunately the hotel was full. Not everything worked on the TV for example, we couldn’t look at a full TV guide so just flicked through without knowing what was on. The design of the shelf above the sink in the bathroom does not work, you can’t splash your face or rinse your mouth without getting it all over the floor.

Excellent location. very clean and hospitable room

Room was quite warm (it was a hot day).

It's a very clean and cosy place, the location is also very good, the sleeping condition of the environment is also very good and quiet, the front desk people and the service people are also very friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. They even have the small Dyson ventilation machine for the room, which makes the room fresher after the shower and during the stay. (This is a really nice and caring detail provided)By the way,I love the cookies and the tea bag they provide, it's supper lovely.*The room fits exactly as you see on the booking system.

Good sized room with all the amenities you would need. Clean and lovely decor. The parking was great and the location is perfect for the city centre. Lady on reception was super helpful.

Pillows were too thin for me personally, so could have done with a few spares.

Lovely decor, a clean classy hotel in a central location with lovely views over Leicester cathedral, good facilities in the room, secure entry, on-site parking and lovely staff.

    Location & staff

Room was oppressively hot. There was a fan but did little to reduce the temperature

    10TPosted on: 7-28-2024

The room was amazing. Such a big room with an enormous bathroom! The super king size bed was so comfy. The tea/coffee/biscuit Selection was very cutely displayed on a bed tray on the bed on arrival. I loved the real milk in the glass bottle, there's nothing worse than the little cartons whens there's not enough! The room was spotless, hands off to the cleaners! Loved that the decor was very modern but yet keeping in style with the victorian building! Would definitely recommend and will visit again!

To be perfectly honest, I couldn't pick one thing I didn't like. It ticked ALL the boxes.
