Noting about this place

Dirty, smells like cannabis, people where loud, dusty,Bed sheet where reused with out being cleaned the list goes on

It was very central

The room was very cold. It smelt like cannabis. Stair access relied on someone coming down to let you in

It was well in need of refurbishment, the room was cold and the duvet thin. Had to sleep with a shirt on it was so chilly

Location right in the middle of the Old Towm perfect for all the comedy shows we were seeing. Received a free upgrade on arrival so much bigger room than we expected. Basic facilities like fridge, tea and coffee and toiletries provided.

Window was leaking water from all the rain, looked like they had blown. Water was all over the floor come the morning

The property looks nothing like what’s advertised online

The hotel needs major refurbishment as it feels like a cheap hostel. All sounds(TV etc…) can be heard from outside the room and tables and stands are on the verge of collapse.

Rooms are immaculate and cozy. Prices are brilliant. Lovely place to stay and staff are always polite

The location was absolutely fantastic. Good value for money. Easy to access and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the room wasn't as clean as it should be and needed a thorough going over. The heater was a panel just plugged in and leaning up against the wall, with some interesting marks/stains on it. I don't expect miracles with a budget room at a good price point, but it does need a bit of TLC.

The location

Some of the other guests were smoking drugs could be smelt through the whole hotel. Shower drain was getting blocked. The smell of the drugs was still lingering the next morning.

Great location, friendly staff

Parking was far from the hotel with no instructions on how to find the hotel. Rooms were acceptable, walls very thin and could hear noises all night long, creaking floor boards and outside noise made for a very loud and restless night.

Good location nearby the shopping centre and restaurants.

Generally unclean in the hotel and especially the room, lots of dust, stains on the sheets and various places as well as mould and a lot of condensation water on the windowsills. Some other inconveniences included bathroom door being unable to shut due to the flooring, missing handle on the wardrobe and the air con/heating unit not working meaning the room was very cold. The corridors also smelt of smoke and although you could exit via the stairs you couldn’t enter this way and had to use the lift. I found the photos that were advertised of the hotel to be a bit misleading.

The location was great and the staff were friendly.

There was sick in the doorway of the hotel when we arrived at 5pm. The room itself stank of smoke and this was quite overwhelming and made us feel ill. All our clothes smelt of smoke when we left the next day, The hotel wasnt secure as the front door of the hotel was open when we got back , despite being told it would be closed at 10pm. The bed linen and the pilllows were unkept, lumpy and badly fitting and this made it feel unclean. The photos make it look much nicer than it is.

Found hairs in the bed, shower, smelt of weed. Sick on the entrance to the hotel

Not much- location seemed ok

It was filthy and the room was freezing. The heating by air on turned off every 10mins so the room never got warm. The reception staff gave me an extra blanket and said they’d already lent their heaters out to other guests (obviously I’m not the only person who was cold). Really not sure how this has the gall to give its self any stars. Owner’s clearly just being tight on upkeep, cleaning and heating. Really grim to be honest

Not enough toilet roll & an unfortunately noisy room across hall way but staff came down promptly and topped me up

Horrendous

The hotel had no staff, our room was completely filthy covered in thick dust and mould! Our bed was actually broken the end was actually bent and ripped. When I asked for a better room they said they were all booked up but had one room much smaller which was just cleaned. When I went to look it was just the same as the original room but mich smaller! It was just as filthy u could see thick layers of dust everywhere and the bed was also broken! When I asked for a refund so I could go else where I was told its not possible and they could give us free drinks from the bar....being that we have a baby and don't drink this was an unacceptable offer. Then we were offered a 25% discount if we book again. I said we will never be coming back here! Absolutely atrocious hotel, ive never had such an awful experience

Just the location.

The room was quite dirty with a lot of dust and the equipment was completely worn out. I wouldn't recommend anyone book this hotel!!The room was cold and the air conditioning wasn't heating, and as you can see from the photo, besides not workingproperly, it must have been years since maintenance and cleaning were part of this hotel's routine!

Everything was dirty - the whole room was dirty, bedbugs, trash, dirt… And it’s for 50 pounds!

Great location .

Lobby smelt like cannabis. Room smelt like raw sewage . When this was told to the reception we where given an air freshener. Balcony was like a prison wall . Really disappointed at our stay . The photos of this place are not realistic at all . Travel lodge would have been far better choice Balcony door couldent be closed or locked

The location of the hotel is superb right in the city centre opposite the wetherspoons pub

The room was tiny compared to the room I had booked there was one towel between 2 people and the pillows were really hard and the room was extremely hot and smelt very strongly of weed which was setting my asthma off

That it was next to a 24hour subway

.The bathroom handle broke off as soon as I checked in. They had no heating. The AC was on the whole night with no off mode. Dust was blowing out the vents. The reception then had the audacity to ask me for a good review on booking.com after all of that baring mind I made multiple complaints during the night. Then said if I give good review he will compensate my next stay. Honestly one of the worst places I’ve stayed and for my first time in Leicester I definitely won’t be going back.
