Very comfortable bed. Clean room. Good breakfast. Quiet.

The shower pressure was very poor and not much more than a dribble.

Room was very nice, and facilities clean and in good order. The club was excellent and the food was excellent, and good value for money. Overall the value for money was very good, and this is now my preferred hotel when in the Nottingham area.

Dinner in restaurant was very nice, with a selection of Gluten-free items. The fact that you can easily access the driving range was a bonus, especially since it was open 'till late.

Would stay again

The walls were very thin in the bedroom and the man in the room next door was very noisy on his phone so I could over hear everything and he started his very loud conversation at about 5.30am which went on for ages! Not the hotels fault but very irritating. Other than that it was an excellent hotel in a beautiful location.

The room was spacious and clean

We were assigned the wrong configuration of room and then had to change and move to another one. Room was ok, but there was little to no hot water. I complained about this but the staff was able to help.The breakfast lacked any fruit etc and was rather poor compared to other hotels I've stayed in the area.Also most of the items in the buffet were empty and had to beg the staff to bring us eggs etc. RATHER POOR SERVICE for the kind of hotel and the price paid. i expected more !!

Comfy bed, and the location was lovely.

It looks like there upgrading the rooms. The door key detector had fallen off. The key didn't work, and it was a trek to reception. The room smelt unused and a bit drainy, so I ran the shower and sink . Breakfast was not good. They were continually running out of food with people waiting but only cooking small amounts.

Great location and setting on the golf course, staff were friendly and helpful

Food was not good enough, breakfast was like a poor imitation of premier inn, evening meal was mediocre at best. Room was pleasant but the bed was very uncomfortable. Small things missing, no choice of tea at breakfast, no coffee machine, no tissues in room, etc

The corridor my room was on was having works done in different rooms starting at 7am and one day went on until 6pm. Well located, with parking if you get there when the course isn’t busy. The room was very clean.

If you are not a golfer, it isn’t maybe suitable for a relaxing stay. Restaurant was closed at 8pm on a Saturday. Pillows were so old, even with two, we were sleeping flat. Black pudding at breakfast actually bent my fork, it was so overcooked. Also my wife noted, with a full restaurant, she was the only female!

The pretty views around the hotel. They put the football on which was good, didn't have to watch it elsewhere. Breakfast was good 7/10

The cleanliness has a lot to be desired, bedding had curls and small strands of hair.Wasn't worth the price in that way just happy our destination was very near our plans went perfect from arrival to leaving. So all in all 7/10 3 points deducted for cleanliness

The room was a good size and clean bathroom very good (water pressure a little low in the taps) but overall very good.

Beautiful hotel, with a lovely clean room. Really comfortable bed, and the shower was gorgeous. Lovely breakfast as well.

My only complaint was the golfers walking by our window regularly.

The room was cold and the heater was incredibly loud - not what you would expect in a nice hotel. Breakfast wasn’t great and the service was incredibly slow.

liked the little lodge type accommodation, very comfortable and all staff very friendly and helpful

would have liked a little more choice for breakfast - I'm dairy free and wasn't sure what would be suitable for me so an ingredients list by each food stuff ( especially the bread) would have been helpful however Oat milk was available on request which was fantastic

location, spacious room

I've been over charged, red Thai curry portion was tiny and the bath takes over 30 minutes to fill in room called Pavilion.

Everything really. Food was good, room was excellent as were the staff. Have had a couple of so-so stays at other hotels recently. This however was a definite bonus. Wasn't sure what to expect from a golf club (don't play golf) - we were here for a funeral at the nearby Rush Cliffe Oak, but this exceeded all expectations.

The bathroom bin had not been emptied on check-in. The sink did not drain very well at all.
