Very dated, poor selection of drinks available, cold room due to poor glazing and a bang average breakfast.

Was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed, plenty of coffee, biscuits, milk, toiletries.We didn't get time to eat but the Indian resteraunt downstairs smelt absolutely beautiful.Bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. Towels were immaculate and fluffyRoom was a really nice size

The tv remote didnt work which was a bit inconvenient.Outside when you pull up the place is absolutely filthy and needs cleaning up asap to be honest. It gives a very poor impression which is unnecessary as inside is perfectly nice. My recommendation to the hotel would be to do there best to rectify this as quickly as possible and plant some plants in the planters that are being used as ashtrays, that small difference would be huge.You have to ask staff to let you in late at night as the card slot on the door isnt working All in all i wouldnt let this put you off as it was more than worth the money.

Is is an absolute hole full of degenerates wondering around stinking of weed banging doors and shouting all hours

Clean, tidy, good parking and convenient

Our room (9) was on the chilly sidr despite the radiator being hot. The radiator in the bathroom was not working. A party was on in the main area, so we couldn't sit and have a quiet chat with our friends but had to stay in our chilly room.

Price for twin room cheap as chips!Beds comfortable.Yes it’s being renovated and could be maybe a little safer on arrival I managed to avoid tripping over carpet and wires lol but for the price how I cannot complain. Reception staff lovely!

Although going through refurbishment, the room was clean and fresh, the staff were also friendly and welcoming. We especially loved the fact the room was really warm.

complained about the smell as the place was doing construction as I arrived and all the way through my stay, even i complain nothing happened, I was there to do a local medical responder course, just for me could not sleep because of the smell of paint vapour, as well as it was unsafe environment,

Friedly staff, availability to check in earlier if needed, spacious, good location and quiet

Cold, dirty, poor bedding and bed, poor breakfast, water pressure is not good in the shower, place is being refurbed- really shouldn't be open.Needs a complete overhaul.Had to request they put the heating on in the bedroom.Had to request additional duvets for warmth.No heating in breakfast area. Food items unavailable with no prior warning.Requested to speak with a manager but they failed to bother.The more you look, the more issues you find.Not worth the price.I messaged with my issues and haven't had a response to that either hence this review.

It was a great location for the Emporium

The whole place felt tired and worn. The corridors smelt smoky and were cold. Although the room itself was warm. Room and bathroom in need of an update, shower pressure poor.

Room was a good size. Perfect location Staff were great and helpful.

Everything was spot on

Above all, very kind and willing staff, who helped me far beyond the call of duty.

The entire housekeeping staff were on holiday, and the restaurant was closed! This should have been clearly and honestly stated at the time of booking.

The room was comfortable

It was cold in my room on my second night's stay the heating wasnt on,the first breakfast was cold,I mentioned it and the second one was better,but the room where it was served was very cold.

Looks a bit sad from the outside but don't be put off. My room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed plus a few extras like biscuits and toiletries.. Cooked breakfast was good with lots of options. Staff friendly and helpful.

Stairs to room - but not too many.A little refresh here and there would make a huge difference, especially to first impression on arrival

The breakfast was really good. We ate at 8.30-it was lovely.The rooms were warm & we could regulate the radiator.The water was nice & hot in our bath room.The room supplies were efficiently topped up at once on request.Staff were respectful kind & prompt to help.

There was only just enough space in the bathroom.

The reception staff were lovely and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and quiet in the evening. Booked for a night, ended up staying for 4nights.. Worked from my room with no WiFi issues. Breakfast was amazing value. Stuffed for the day afterwards

Needs updating but everywhere was of good standard.
