The Appleby Inn Hotel

Friendly and nice food

Family emergency so didn’t stay the full 3 days was offered a refund on the last day and only stayed one night

Free breakfast was so generous. Room is spacioius. Peaceful location in countryside. The dinner served in the restaurant was great with many locals dining with families - great atmosphere. Not noisy at all.

No aircon, but fortunately, it was slightly rainy at the time we stayed.

Fantastic room even if it was meant for disable access more room for us

Great space busy restaurant and bar

Clean , food good , rooms a good size

The property catered for our needs as a group of 10 people inc children as a wedding party. We were provided with a large family rooms which provided plenty floor space to cater for a 4 month old to play. The staff were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough to help us overcome any queries we had. The food in the restaurant had a good choice of food to cater for everyone’s taste. One of our party were gluten free and again it was no problem regarding food

We felt the rooms were too hot. We tried to reduce the temp but failed miserably and should have asked for assistance.

Lovely setting, convince of location to commute into Ashby-de-la-zouchRoom size is good: The hotel was quiet, and the staff were polite and accommodating

Our family room was very comfortable. Plenty of room for a family of four. It was very clean.Dinner and Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice. If in the area again we would definitely choose to stay again.

The restaurant was amazing both dinner and breakfast

A fan from the kitchen was next to my room window ( room 19 ) and ran intermittently all night it was very loud even with the windows closed

Very clean room. Staff very friendly and good and drink excellent.

Experience as expected. Good location, clean and good size room and facilities. The bar and breakfast was good.

We arrived late due to traffic, but check in was easy and lovely staff on reception. Food in the restaurant was great, and good value for money. The room was very spacious, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice for everyone.

The room was uncomfortably hot, it was impossible to get a good night's sleep.

I had a great night's sleep. Clean and comfortable bed. Warm and very clean room. Everything I needed was there. The young man in the bar was really helpful and found me a quiet spot to have my dinner. Lovely breakfast. I've stayed here before and would definitely return.

We have stayed at the Appleby many times over the years. We are never disappointed, good food, friendly staff, comfortable room.

Small country hotel so if you don’t need surrounding facilities it’s great. Very clean, great restaurant with ample food. Rooms are simple and straightforward.

Room was new and well decorated. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and super helpful.

The room would benefit from another couple of chairs, as it is a family room

Passable

The toilet did not flush in the bathroom when l reported it at breakfast they said it would be looked at after we left ,room 23 . No offer of refund.

The staff were amazing it was my brothers golden wedding everyone chose off the menu and the food was superb 20 people

Only a wish you had an electric charger But didn’t affect us

Loved the vibe Family run Clean rooms

Stairs and no lift to the room

3rd time we've been to the Appleby Inn Hotel. . Its clean, very well run, staff are courteous, we love the fact there is a Restaurant attached with brilliant menus. All round a great place. Would thoroughly recommend.

We would really have appreciated a 2nd chair in our room to watch tv from. We did ask for one, but it didn't appear.

Breakfast, dinner and the room were all of an acceptable standard.A good venue for a short stay
