Passable

Over priced for shabby looking hotel and charged an additional £15 to have our dog stay with us

Location, value for money and Staff were attentive and couldn’t do enough.

Desperately needs updating. Hotel looks tired.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean

TV was difficult to operate and nothing to watch it would be better to allow some kind of phone linking. Shower took 8 mins to warm to a reasonable temperature.

outdated, too dark in the room, light not working, iron not working, not sufficient sockets next to bed to charge equipments. only 1x phone charger socket., uncomfortable sofa bed. bed mattress was too soft as if it was used for trampoline jumping and had fallen in.

The unclean toilet bowl on arrival and the time waited for someone to clean it ... when that failed through lack of staff and we called again to ask why no one had cone to us we were moved to the room next door

Bed was comfortable..breakfast was nice .

Would of liked two double beds in room..sofa bed was hard.should really be sleeping on a bed for that price was the only negative thing we had on our stay.

No heating in room. No instructions about radiators. Fiddled with air con all evening but not joy.

Great staff, great food, bespoke dinner menu designed by the chef.Breakfast was excellent.Room was quiet comfortable and well equipped.

That I was moved room when I asked.. to a worse room.

Uncomfortable beds , radiators apparently don’t switch off so if you like to sleep in an oven this is great. Fan doesn’t work either! The cleanliness was off putting to me as there were some questionable stray hairs in the bed and I’m not just talking a couple. Worst sleep ever :(

Small Room unable to get shower head down - too far and wet my hair. ( no shower cap) provide

Great choice of breakfast items.Great location as we were visiting friends nearby.

Pillows could have been a bit softer.

We had to delay our arrival and staff at both the call centre and the hotel itself could not do anymore to help and support with the change.

Good location, quick and easy check in

Our bed was like sleeping on a Stoney beach. It was incredibly uncomfortable- could feel every spring!

We like the location and the hotel in general

However we devided to upgrade to a premium double but felt it wad not worth tge additipnal cost tge bed was uncomfortable and the room was drab we had to call reception for dressing gowns and coffee

Staff were very helpful. I was going through a stressful time. Wish I was still there. Might lose my cat . They were very kind letting me stay in my room a little longer.

Good location for family get together. Friendly staff, good parking facilities. Would stay again. Good breakfast on the Sunday morning. Cleaners were lovely and asked if we would like our room freshening up whilst we were out, very good.

Breakfast on the Monday morning was a bit sad. Food was dry, and staff were going round packing things away (early) which made us feel a bit rushed and as though we should leave.

The staff was polite and welcoming. The room was cozy, and parking was convenient.

The hotel shows some signs of age and could use a little refresh.

Location, price, Holiday Inn brand recognition/standard, all good
