Maybe a place to rest the suitcase
Great location for stopover from M6. Very pet friendly. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Good food and friendly staff. Nice walks along the canal. Will definitely be coming back and have already recommended to family and friends with dogs x
Nothing to report here.
pub and staff very nice and friendly. breakfast was very good
room was smaller then shown online and wardrobe was broken
we booked through booking . com and had stated that we had a dog.On arrival they didn't have these details but kindly sorted a room at no extra cost.which was fab as we had just done a 5 hour road trip from Scotland and this was our half way place. So very tired at this time.
Music was a bit load in the bar ,but again we were very tiered.
Breakfast was excellent
Room1 in the Coach House felt very dampHad pizzas on which barely had any of the toppings as stated on the menu and not cooked in the middleDidn't realise the bedrooms were not dog free without having to pay extra
We had a 1 night stay in one of the new refurbished roomsLarge comfortable bed, tea and coffee supplies, including a coffee machine, mini fridge with complimentary water too.
The Lighting in room was either too bright or not bright enough, which was a shame.Slow service at breakfast, one breakfast came out missing the sausage from the full english, while eggs royale, although tasty enough, tge eggs were solid. All the pastries were removed, so we actually felt rushed, even though we had waited about 20 minutes on our cooked choices.
Spacious and modern bedroom, the “goodies” in the room were an extra bonus. Friendly staff and great location just off the motorway.
Excellent breakfast. There was a good choice on the menu for breakfast.
Bathroom door was not fitted well and had to be lifted to close.
Very comfortable bed, good size room, super dog friendly and near the lovely canal walk. Very convenient location just off M6 as we travel regularly to Scotland and break our journey there.
We had to wait a very long time for breakfast which delayed us getting back en route for the long drive to London.
Good location, nice room decor, great bathroom, lovely breakfast
The room was small when you have a bigger dog staying with you
Lovely atmosphere, friendly, clean, super location, good food great with dogs!
Wonderful staff. Bar and food good, nice atmosphere
Deluxe Rooms could do with a little tlc paintwork and woodwork
Location, facilities and welcome.
Minor attention needed to window of Room 5 and also shower fitting. Notified staff.
We had another excellent stay, staff were very friendly and helpful. Very 'dog friendly' and allowed dogs into an area of the restaurant reserved for that purpose. Breakfast was extremely good with high quality local produce.
Could have done without the rain on arrival, but we can't blame the hotel for that.
Had a lovely comfortable and relaxing night's sleep. Didn't have time unfortunately to have breakfast, but the lovely lady (i think she was the owner) followed me out to the car and gave me a pile of pastries! It was so kind and thoughtful and very much appreciated
