Good Breakfast to start the day.Sea View.Welcoming Staff

Gentleman was smoking stood in the open entrance door and the smoke was filling the corridor and lounge.To my knowledge no action was taken when reported.On returning to the hotel on our second evening I went to use the signposted Lounge to watch TV as my wife was already asleep in the room only to be told that the Lounge was not for Guests !!

Fantastic view.Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Clean. Good breakfast and very reasonably priced.

The shower was not so good.

Needless to say we did...

The front door was boarded up,the walls had holes in them,the carpet was unclean. The paint was coming off everywhere. In the room there were holes in the walls .the tv was on the wall with leads draping on both sides connecting to an extension lead draiping to the socket. The table was full of cup stains and the chairs very worn. the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned dirty shower no toilet roll

Could not get the TV to work. Under sheet would not stay on the bed. The noise from the next door room was bad. The rap music was loud. There was people coming and going in to the early hours. The parts of conversation I could hear was disturbing. 'you can get five years in side for carrying a gun on you' 'who did you get to bash him' 'I told you but you would not liston would yeah'. It made me feel unsafe.

Perfect location, beautiful view, great breakfast, fantastic staff. Yes, it’s little bit outdated, needs a bit of work, but it was comfortable, warm and really good value for money

Very friendly and helpful staff, the room was clean and very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and had plenty options.

No lift , we was on the top floor, and we would have liked a lamp in the room.

Staff were attentive. Hotel within 5 minutes walking to bus stops in both directions and plenty of buses passing by. No need for a car as train station nearby also. Breakfast was ok with fruit juice, cereals, croissants, jam and full English. Price for bed and breakfast very reasonable compared to other hotels in Morecambe. After all, even the bigger hotels nearby have poor reviews and you would pay double if not treble. Yes, the wide sea view is very good if your room is at the front of the hotel. There was a good size table and 2 chairs in our room and tv and kettle with tea and coffee etc in the room. We enjoyed a very tastey pizza and buger from the pizza place just round the corner.

Although the sea view is a big plus, the road traffic can be heard even with windows closed but this would be the same in most places in Morecambe. The traffic volume is high all over the town. The staff are aware there is room for some refurbishment but the towels, bed linen and general facilities are very clean. We are in our 70's and very used to different kinds of accommodation in UK and overseas so we can speak with some sort of "expertise" when reviewing places. The weather when we were there was not very thrilling and that can make a difference to one's perception of your stay. With some brighter weather, it can be more pleasant. As Eric said, "Give me sunshine" ....

Stay for two nights, lovely friendly staff, catered for my gluten and diary issues. Massively appreciated. Was cosy, warm, nice view of the sea. Amazing price. Will definitely be back

Being petty but I always like to give some constructive criticism.... tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom, one mug was cracked, and the kettle didn't reach the plug, so I had to boil the kettle on the floor, not really and issue for me though.

The breakfast was fantastic and value for money

The room was small, and so was the bathroom. You struggled to get past the sink to get to the toilet, and the radiator was hanging off the wall in the bathroom. The room was too hot, and there was no way to turn the heating off it was uncomfortable. The view was off houses and yards not a good view.

The location is good and the view to the seaside is nice.

There is no parking available — only a few random spots on the street, if you’re lucky enough to find one.Breakfast was a nightmare. We tried it once, and even the coffee and tea were unbearable.The stairs are extremely steep, and the elevator was not working.A guest in the room next to ours was snoring so loudly that it was very difficult to sleep. The rooms have very poor soundproofing — you can hear everything around you.During our five-night stay, the room was not cleaned even once.There was no iron or hairdryer provided in the room.

Nothing. We left & did not stay.

The poor state of repair. The unpleasant smell. Dirty & grubby throughout. No offer of a refund. Staff member was not bothered & didn’t ask we did not want to stay.
