great location ,good size room with kitchen facilities which was a bonus, also view of promenade.

Another great weekend spent in Room 3 at The Crown. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room very comfortable with fabulous views across the Vay.

Good location on sea front. Staff very friendly. Food in in bistro tasty, good portions. Room larger than expected, with sofa and cooking facilities in addition to TV and ensuite.

Room okay, but had an old-fashioned air and wasn't attractively decorated. Not a problem really, just a comment. We knew before booking there were no lifts, just stairs, so not a problem, but youneeed to be aware.

Location was perfect for us. The staff were lovely. Breakfast was ok.

The room was very dated and could do with a refurb. However the space was great. Parking was a challenge but we managed in the end. Generally needs some investment in decor and furnishings.

The position of the hotel directly on the seafront was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the dinner menu food was very good. Breakfast was ok, but not the variety of fresh fruit that I needed. Everything within the room and the restaurant was very clean.

The property is very dated - 60's style emulsioned blown vinyl wallpaper that is in desperate need of a new coat of paint. The stairwell was very narrow and dark in places, with sensor lighting that was ok on the way up, but between the second and first floor didn't activate until you were nearly at the first floor, which together with a very dark carpet, made it quite dark when descending between floors.Very squeaky floorboards in the bathroom, which caused a disturbance. Parking was a bit of a challenge. On street parking was either 1 hours and no return for an hour, or 2 hours with no return for 2 hours, or pay parking in the car park opposite.

The hotel was really lovely, excellent location on the Promenade/beach and a 5 min walk from the station. The views over looking the beach were amazing. The room and hotel have modern decor, and the beds were lovely to sleep in. The food was lovely and the staff were really helpful and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, will definitely return.

Room was on top floor (3 flights up) and I was travelling with elderly mum. Would definitely have improved stay if there was a lift.

Second stay here. Staff very friendly & helpful. Room was clean, warm & great value. Cannot fault!

The room was very spacious and perfectly decorated. The bed was really comfy and the sea view was amazingI would highly recommend this place for a holiday stay….. pERFECT

Our 4th stay at the crown Hotel and they never disappoint, it's like a home from home for Tom and myself, clean, smiling friendly staff and excellent food and service in fact we wouldn't stay anywhere else, thankyou to all at the Crown Hotel for another lovely stay ? xx

The property was warm & welcoming throughout our stay. Quality large, modern rooms with fabulous views across the bay ( room 3) and some nice extra touches. The owners and all staff were so friendly and work extremely hard at making your stay memorable. Food in the restaurant was quality. Breakfast Lunch & Evening meal top notch and excellent VFM. I would highly recommend a stay here. Ideal location for visiting surrounding areas. We will certainly return in the future for sure..?

Nice comfortable bed, lovely clean sheets. Room and shower was very clean. Breakfast was nice and the evening meals were very good and a reasonable price.

Quite strict on timings for meals. Although we never seen any other guests at breakfast so was not very busy. Make sure you book for evening meal as it gets very busy.

I have stayed here a couple of times and enjoyed it. It is an excellent price and gives you everything you need. I had ample coffee and tea facilities, towels, and comfortable bedding. The TV is set up with all the main apps as well. Lots of space in the rooms too.

The WiFi dipped in and out a few times. The carpet in my room might need a bit of a deep clean /refresh as well.

Ease of checking in room was large and comfy everything we needed staff were friendly

Loved the location of the hotel. My only criticism was the shower was not very hot but the hotel was very clean. Ate in the restaurant on both days, food was top notch and staff very friendly and welcoming.

The rooms are very old fashioned and carpets very grubby. Dark and dismal. Never again. The room smelt of dogs

Our was room exceptional. Huge tv with very comfortable sofa. Very airy and bright. Even had a telescope and binoculars to survey the views from the windows. Lovely comfortable bed. Bathroom again very clean.
