Ideally located in a central yet quiet Odense district, this hotel offers a nice breakfast, has free fiber Wi-Fi and a roof terrace with panoramic city views. Odense Station is 8 minutes’ walk and the ODEON conference- and culture center just a 3-minute walk away. City Hotel Nattergalen's modern guest rooms have simple yet comfortable furnishings. All include a TV, a work desk and a private bathroom with shower. Just a couple of minutes' walk from the main building is the hotel’s cozy restaurant, Den Gamle Kro. It is located in a half-timbered house from 1683 and has traditional décor with wooden paneling. After playing pool or dart in City Hotel’s games room, guests can relax by the fireplace in the lounge, where free hot drinks are available. Dining, culture, shopping and recreation are all within walking distance. Parking costs DKK 75,- per day. It is not possible to pre-book or reserve parking spaces. The parking has 18 spaces and therefore operate on a first-come, first-served basis. If there are no more spaces available upon arrival, we can provide directions to the nearest car park.

- Good price and good location. Nice selection at breakfast, and a great plus that they served coffee 24/7. Nice and cozy decoration.

- City Hotel Nattergalen is a charming spot nestled in a prime location in Odense, perfect for discovering the city's vibrant attractions. While the parking situation was a bit tight, it was certainly manageable. The real highlight of our stay was the exceptional staff. They went above and beyond to introduce us to Odense's touristy spots and suggested some fun local bars to visit in the evening. It's evident that they truly care about their family-owned hotel and take pride in their city. This personal touch made our stay memorable and engaging. If you're visiting Odense, City Hotel Nattergalen is a delightful choice for a warm and welcoming experience.
Cons -
- The room was old but clean. The breakfast room was crowded and noisy.
- Although we went to our room literally just for sleep, it was a bit small.
