    Pros +

    • Great location and atmosphere.
    • The reception was first class, great warm welcome. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but was sufficient. The food in the restaurant was amazing and would be highly recommended. The sm9ked scallop was to die for. Great breakfast with plenty of choice if both hotcakes cokd food. Highly recommended. Would happily stay again.
    • We loved the property, the hotel itself is cosy and located in the former royal complex from the XVIII century, where apparently the king would stay when visiting Odense. The entire staff was very welcoming and professional and went out of their way to accomodate our requests and make our stay pleasant! A huge thank you and we will certainly come back! :)

    Cons -

    • The bathroom of the single room is camping like.
    • I only stayed 1 night, could gave stayed longer
    • It was some moisture on the windows after I had taken the shower in the morning.

Nice staff, really good breakfast and comfortable beds. It was also a quite short and nice walk to the center of the town.

It was some moisture on the windows after I had taken the shower in the morning.

Comfortable, lovely staff, great breakfasts, dinner was wonderful and even the owner greeted us and visited.

    Loved it all

It's simple and clean. Also the size is good foe 2 people.

A bit far from town. It's a 25-30 min walk from the tourist spots but I think there's a train.Breakfast is limited.

Good bed, very nice breakfast, free parking, great atmosphere

Bit too hot in the room l, even after turning off the heating

    9ValeriePosted on: 9-3-2025

Wonderful place to stay. Has a serene atmosphere around the rooms. Easy to find, park and access transport into the town centre

Amazing Danish breakfast with home made Brunsviger which was delicious! Kettle and tea and coffe in room, comfortable nights sleep, good sized bathroom with soap and showergel provided. Courtyard view of the free car park, and nice area. Some traffic but no noise issues. Walked to the city centre which took half an hour, bikes were available to hire if we chose

Doors were a bit stiff and cumbersome, no lift when we had a big heavy suitcase

    Geat breakfast

Small rooms with low sealing, no air con

The restaurant for breakfast- some of. The rooms in the courtyard.

It is a motel-next door there is a gasoline station and a car wash. Literally in the courtyard.- only rooms that deserve attention are those from 100 to 200. Do not take any room 300-400. Unless you like the noise and appreciate the queue of the car wash. The main road is full of traffic and is noisy.

Response in English to assist the reader: Location & buildings configuration is amazing. Room is very good and the independent access is a bonus. I did not try the restaurant but the breakfast was very good

The room was quite warm and has no airconditioning. Opening a window helps a little bit but then one my question if everything is still safe & secure with fairly easy access from the outside. The shower window can be opened but then a passer by can see straight into the shower / bathroom so from a privacy point of view not ideal

Great bed. Incredible restaurant and breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Easy parking.

Rooms were a bit old and noisy

    7HannePosted on: 7-23-2025

Location was great. Staff very friendly and helpful

Hardly any toiletries. Few towels. Poor lighting in our room.

    9Anna-riikkaPosted on: 7-22-2025

Beautiful surroundings, great breakfast and friendly staff. Bikes available for free.

Quite a hot room in the summer, however there was a fan that helped.

Very fancy spot. I spent one night going to Eghjorten Disc Gold park the next day, which lies some kilometers away. Highly recommend both the hotel and the course.Good selections on the breakfast.

Nothing comes to mind. It's an old historic building so of course it's gonna be a bit more pricey for the cost focused traveler.

    8ClairePosted on: 7-14-2025

Staff were wonderful and arranged early check-in. . Room was very clean, and breakfast was excellent.

The fire doors were very noisy and constantly banging from early morning so not ideal for a quiet start to th day.

    9SaraPosted on: 6-27-2025

Really cozy place with super helpful staff. Breakfast was great. We only stayed one night but would’ve definitely stayed more!

The room was very warm but that was really the only downside to the stay. Everything else was amazing.

    8SvetlanaPosted on: 6-26-2025

The room was nice. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Very rich and fresh breakfast. Opposite to the hotel is a food store.

Location is really good for my purpose, very close to the clinic.staff accepts my check out a bit late and check in a bit early.

    - Breakfast didn't meet expectation.- the waiter didn't like it when i asked for someone to bring it to my room in the morning, even though they made me pay extra for this service.- there was no shampoo nor moisture nor body lotion.- i asked for bottle of water, they mentioned you can use the tab, bear in mind you pay more than 150 Euro for one day in this hotel.- the rooms/ design are old (not that important)but all of these reasons make it the value for money is not that great, you don't feel like this service worth 150 Euro per day.
