- Walking the trails to see all the plants, banana trees, coffee trees/bushes and tall sugar cane was awesome!! Our building was good and very hot water. The beds were typical Costa Rica. Overall¿, excellent place to stay.
- We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful property! Great location. hotel employees were so personable. Gave us great suggestions for places to go in the area and they were so friendly. We had a nice breakfast. We got to see the resident Sloth every day!
- The cabana that we stayed in was great. It was located on a beautiful property tucked away in the mountains. It had a nice hike around the property where the family had cows and cows. Everything was very clean and up to date. Breakfast was amazing!
Cons -
- I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who has trouble walking, as it is a 10 minute walk up/down steep hills into town. My partner and I enjoyed the walks however. You can get a taxi into town for a very reasonable price, I believe 2000-3000 colones
- Dogs barking at all hours of the night (some were the owners dogs - but those stopped around 10pm). Most were the neighboring dogs - so that was out of control of the owners. We were there during holy week and the owners family took over the pool.

Very secluded and quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for. There are nice paths and views around the property too. Wildlife come around as well. Hotel Employee was so wonderful and helpful it truly was a perfect end to our trip in Costa Rica.

The cabin (we stayed in #1) is quaint. Standard Tico living arrangements (minimal kitchen amenities (but they had one - so that was nice). No a/c, but none needed since the temps are cool at night. Off the beaten path and great surroundings.
