    Pros +

    • A nice option for a family weekend. Clean and spacious room, very good breakfast, lovely personnel. Good pool and sauna, big play room for kids. My son loved the little goats and lamas.
    • Beautiful place lovely staff and facilities. Great horses.
    • Breakfast is good, Staff on reception and in restrain / bar is very friendly and pleasant to communicate with.

    Cons -

    • Coffee was not very good. No bathrobes to go to the pool, and the lockers were either not working, or didn’t have keys. No USB for phone charging. The shower didn’t have a door (by design), not really convenient. The blackout in our room was not covering the window completely, so we were waking up quite early (not a big problem in September, and for the early bird of my husband :)). Overall nothing too critical- but could have been improved to make the place remarkable.
    • The room was too small this time.restaurant and bar was closed at 8 pm. As the Hotel is located in very isolated place, this leaves no chance for dinner.
    • room was in the new building. cheap ambiance and ugly interior. no tea or coffee making facilities. no bar fridge. for the price of the room we expected more

The hotel is lost in the middle of nowhere so you will need a car to get there. It is in a very quiet surrounding and nice walks are possible to the waterfront and in the forest. I have to admit that the fact that the place did belong to the last Kaiser and then its grandson gave an exotic twist to the experience. We had diner there and it was good. So was the breakfast, which was very generous.

spa procedure, indoor pool and restaurant in the hotel

    location- not enough attractions

    9YauheniyaPosted on: 8-22-2022

Nice place, animals, playground, really good breakfast, tasty food in the restaurant, forest. It takes 20 mins to go to the beach by foot. It was +32C outside so it was quite warm in the room.

    Wardrobe is not comfortable

Breakfast was very good with one exception: surprisingly poor bread during the first three days of our stay, then it got much better. Overall great selection

Table waiting service could be a bit faster and more attentive.

    - the hotel located in a sleepy hollow village with old style houses- clean rooms and new equipment- very good breakfast- private parking at the hotel

-Staff pretty much slow, had to wait for 40 minutes to check in-hotel restaurant food

I loved the breakfast in the morning, wonderful plating and great quality of the products. The whole building looked really nice on the outside.

I had one request for the receptionist - to give me a stupid bucket to wash my bicycle after 500km of cycling. Unfortunately, she said the cleaning staff were gone and she didn't seem interested in looking herself or offering any other help. The room itself wasn't bad, but for 300zl for one night, I would never stay there again. The window was tiny, so you couldn't get much air in that way.

Great location for trips and sightseeing. The house is beautiful and spacious. The staff was really helpful (especially considering COVID times - they did their best to keep it comfortable). Food is more than decent, really tasty and the menu is just as long as needed. The horse riding staff is also very friendly and helpful.

The renovation work starting in the morning with lots of noise and mess around. The pool is small - for 5 persons I'd say and rather not for swimming. There's practically no decent wine in a bar. The walls are thin, so you'll have to live with your neighbors. The room standard is "enough", definitely needs refreshment; in general, I would say the price is too high for the value.

The old buildings and surroundings are indeed impressive.

    Staff speak very poor English.
