    • The breakfast was amazing, the staff was friendly, the room was nice (excluding the bath), air condition!

    • Great hotel. Comfortable, clean, and convenient

    Cons -

    • It was difficult to shower in a bath since the shower hose was too short and there was no holder on the wall for the shower head. The bed was also a little bit too hard.
    • Huoneeseen kuului tosi hyvin alapuolella menevien rautateiden meteli, mutta valmiina olevat korvatulpat palvelivat hyvin tss kohtaa tarkoitusta. Erinomainen asia!
    • Room was small. Expectations were that rooms should be bigger for such hotel.

Amazing location, but what made the stay perfect was Giulia, who is welcoming, warm and helpful.

Staff showed amazing hospitality. The room is quite comfortable and clean. The hotel is right on the edge of Old Town and close to the bus station. Check out time is very reasonable.

Location is fine if you want to find a hotel near the railway station or bus station. (Not far from city center.)

Room was small. Expectations were that rooms should be bigger for such hotel.

The Eurostars Metropole Hotel really stood out as an excellent accommodation choice in Riga. As this was my first time visiting Latvia, I lucked out choosing this hotel. Its location near the bus and train stations was very convenient, as well as its proximity to the Old Town. Also, the nearby shopping mall provided the chance to mingle with local people outside of the tourist sights plus sample baked goods and food. Its breakfast was excellent, and my room was very comfortable. Again though, the Eurostars Metropole staff were all superb. Everyone at the front desk, the cleaning staff, the kitchen personnel were very considerate and helpful for my stay.

I have no complaints nor recommendations on improvement. Overall, the Eurostars Metropole really was an outstanding place to stay while in Riga. I found its prices reasonable for the quality in accommodations provided.

This hotel was built in 1936 and has an old world feeling, but not necessarily much charm. Functional and comfortable. On the edge of the Old City, so easy to get around and into other parts of the city. Convenient short walk from the train/bus station. Breakfast was fine. I did get upgraded to a small suite, which was comfortable. I think I would have preferred to stay in the Art Nouveau district, but this was fine for a few days.

The hotel felt a bit drab.

    Breakfast, stuff

    Noisy location

    9MargaritaPosted on: 10-20-2025

The style of the single room was cozy and got all you need. Had a corner to relax and a place to work from. The bed was comfy the sheets my favourite white stripes and the pillow was socomfy!! Loved the high ceiling. Although small the bathroom still had a tub which I liked.

I did not like the tea bags ? I like to have my tea in the morning so this was a bit sad. The room was a little chilly in October..

Everything was great! Everyone I interacted with was friendly and courteous, and the reception staff were especially wonderful — particularly Olga . Even though I arrived early, Olga completed my check-in quickly and without any issues. She also provided all the information I needed about the surrounding area and nearby attractions, which made things so much easier for a first-time visitor to Riga.

The reception staff was amazing - Olga, Julia, Dmitry and Ruslan - thank you so much for being kind and helpful, going out of your way to make my stay as comfortable and easy as possible. Vitaly from the restaurant - thank you for your remarkable service ♥️ Im definitely coming back! Hotel is in A location and superior rooms are very beautiful and cozy, giving you wonderful city view at the sunrise! Loved it!

Restaurant was closed on many occasions when I wish it was open. Breakfast used to be not just buffet before. I really miss the ability to make individual orders as an option. I simply wanted poached eggs and it was not offered at breakfast so I had to use room service instead, but sometimes you just want to sit in the restaurant instead

Great location, good breakfast and cleanliness

The guy in the reception was not nice honestly. He gave me the worst room to me probably. No vision, small room.It made me feel like I wanted to stay there by force.I would like to stay in this hotel again, but I prefer another hotel because I don’t want to see him again.I visited and stayed in many hotels and it was the first time that bottle of water is not free in minibar

Great staff! Excellent location. Generous breakfast.

The carpets in the room needed cleaning. This seems to be the case in every hotel but they made a bad impression of an otherwise fine accommodation.

    9StevenPosted on: 9-18-2025

Beautiful hotel, very comfortable spacious room, great breakfast buffet.

    8UrošPosted on: 9-15-2025

The hotel was absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless, and the overall esthetics of the place were just beautiful. Everything felt well thought-out and maintained - honestly, a perfect 10/10 in all these aspects.

The only downside for me was the breakfast. In my opinion, it was quite poor in both choices and flavor, and since the dining area is small, they couldn’t replenish items quickly enough. I know most reviews praise it, so maybe it’s just my Balkan appetite complaining ?. Still, this didn’t ruin my stay, but I do wish it had been better.

The staff was responsive to problems that arose while checking in. Our reservation was not found and when we were booked on there was no confirmation that we paid for breakfast. All problems were resolved. Our initial room had a peculiar shower head that was mounted to the bathtub and you could not shower standing up. We were moved to another room without a problem. The hotel was located on the edge of Old Town within walking distance of everything we wanted to see both within and outside of Old Town. Our room was large and our bed comfortable. The hotel was classically elegant. Breakfast was excellent. If we return to Riga we would stay here again

Odd shower head in first room

Very nice and large room (Superior), comfortable bed, good shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Trams pass by, but cities always have some traffic noise, it did not disturb us even when we were on 2nd floor.
