Pros +
- Comfortable bed
- The only good thing is the location of the hotel.
- I had a pleasant experience staying here. The hotel uses self-check-in and I was texted the door code and my room number in advance. The room was nice, with a TV, two armchairs, and a little desk. The bathroom even had a full bathtub rather than the usual shower.
Cons -
- Impossible to open hotel entrance door that is on an intercom. Hotel staff on the other side of the intecome was rude and unhelpful. Will never stay there again even so it's really conviniently located for me.
- We booked three rooms in total. There was only air conditioning in one of the rooms, the other rooms were very hot. There is no such thing as breakfast in the hotel. The hotel parking lot has only 2 parking spaces, and for parking on the street you had to pay 2.5 euros per hour. The hotel is in dire need of renovation, the water in the bathroom barely runs, the threshold of the bathroom in one room was completely rotten. The whole hotel has a very unpleasant smell. The service is worth 0 points, it is impossible to communicate in English, only in Russian. This hotel is definitely not a 3-star hotel, we felt more like in dormitory.
- The soundproofing wasn't fantastic, but not any worse than in similarly-priced hotels in Riga I've stayed at before, and the location is thankfully not as loud at night as some other parts of Riga can be. I also wish there were a kettle and mini-fridge.

Comfy bed and bedroom, spotless bathroom, nice view.
Location.
22 step winding staircase poorly lit to the room. Room was spartan. No end table lights, no hangers in wardrobe, shower doors broken. Bed was lumpy.
Good location. Close to the city center. Private parking behind the property.
Very noisy street, i had to sleep with earplugs.
I like the location. Near by the hotel a lot of good restaurants or bars.
I do not like the cold inside. For the parking I was charged in cache.
Nice and quiet hotel. The room was cozy and the bed was comfy. I liked that the hotel had a classic
The hotel was well placed for the Art Nouveau area and excellent restaurants. It was very clean and the receptionist, when we met her, was very friendly and welcoming.
We didn’t realise that reception would be mainly unmanned so had a stressful time getting in when we arrived early. We had to make a phone call - that was expensive for us. Other self-check in places had sent a WhatsApp with instructions for arrival. That would have been helpful.
Location was good, only 10-15 minute walk away from old town. Hotel was peaceful, and hotel room was nice and clean. Wifi worked well. For this cheap price, could not ask any better. Front door was locked when I arrived, but after calling the phone number, owner of the hotel came to open the door and I recieved a warm welcome. Pizzeria other side of the street had one of the best neapolitan pizzas I've ever had. Will come back again!
Small hotell, close to city centre, nearby restorans, parks, museums.Cosy place, everything within warking distance.
soundproof was very bad,a can listen everythingare happening in the next door room.No breakfast, only tea or coffe ,you must do it yourself
Avoid this place
Avoid this place - the lady at the reception is rude, aggressive and has no manners. She refused to check us in because we didn’t manage to close the old and massive entrance door. She screamed and complained that because of “people like us” she has no life, that she is paying high fees for booking.com and threatened that she will cancel our reservation at booking.com without a refund.I didn’t see the rooms, however considering the service I would not call it a hotel - definitely not a 3 star hotel. This place confirmed our check-in time, however when we arrived the door was locked and it took 3 phone calls to get in and then we waited around 20 minutes at the reception to experience this rude behaviour.
Great location, friendly owner, cozy.
TV was not working, AC was old and had a strange smell when working. Parking is a bit tight.
The room is comfortable, perfect for spending the night.
Like other hotel customers, I was stressed about the communication with the hotel owner. It was impossible to communicate in English, all questions were answered 'yes' even though I needed more extensive answers. Upon arrival at the hotel, everything was locked, after calling the specified number, the employee tried to dictate the door code for 10 minutes. Later, I had to fill out the questionnaire on my own, where there were also many questions to which I did not receive answers. I don't really understand why the owner doesn't just send self check-in instructions by message in Latvian, English and Russian? This would have greatly accelerated the whole process, because everything that happened caused a lot of stress and inconvenience. Also the internet was not working. The hotel itself is messy, bed linen and towels are left everywhere in reception and halls, it seemed like I was living in a cleaner's pantry.I read several weeks old reviews that the TV was not working, unfortunately it still hadn't been fixed at the time of my visit.
Lovely place, clean and quiet.Only 10 minutes walk from the old town.Private parking was highly appreciated ?. Lady in the reception was very sweet and helpful.
Location was very good- close to everything but not too close
Check in was cumbersome and on leaving an ex employee ran up to me to distraught that he and other people from the Ukraine had worked there but the owner hadn’t paid them. That’s not a good look. She should be paying all her staff. It soured my feelings if the hotel
Aircon was great. Lots of eating places nearby.
TV didn't work for our 3 day stay eventhough we asked for it to be fixed. It was an areial problem. A washing machine was adverstised for use but not the cost of using it. The street was noisy at times. The manageress of the property was not security conscience as her guests would have liked
Friendly staff, nice and clean room. Very good choice for solo traveller
Great location close to old town. Own parking place (place for 1-2 cars). Old wooden house and every room was unique, interesting designs. Helpful and friendly receptionist lady when reached/met.
I booked very late....30 min before arrival. Partly due to that the commication for entrance was poor....I got entrance code 2 hours later in Booking.com app. But the lady opened the door remotely when I pressed the call button. When I got in, there was nobody at reception...called he number and then she replied and gave me instructions which room to choose.Later at the night there was no water pressure for a shower and toilet paper run out.No breakfast available, no kitchen.
Good location
The bed had collapsed springs or something, not comfortable. There was no glass or cup for drinking water in the room.
