Calm resort, modern apartment, amazing complimentary spa, delicious breakfast and dinner

I like one of the staff that was nice and professional

Most of the staff were rude, unkind, and unhelpful. When I asked a question, they rolled their eyes at me before answering, and I later learned that they were speaking badly about me in Hungarian which my wife, being Hungarian, understood. Let’s just say their comments were anything but pleasant, and I definitely did not feel welcome.However, the worst issue was the cleanliness. I had a serious problem when I discovered feces yes, actual feces on two supposedly clean, fresh towels in our room on the same night. On top of that, there appeared to be cigarette ashes on my bathrobe. After coming into contact with a towel that had feces on it, I no longer felt comfortable staying there.We decided to leave the hotel around 11 p.m. and slept in our car instead. I will say, to their credit, that we received a refund without any issues though given the circumstances, and the fact that I showed them both contaminated towels, they really had no choice.

Clean, good and friendly staff. Quite nice breakfast.

There is nothing to do after 20:00, they could use a little entertainment.

The hotel is located in a nice and quiet environment, surrounded by a well-maintained golf course.Wellness area was nice with a good sauna aufguss programme.Nice to have netflix on tv.

Overall, I did not find the place well-cleaned. There was quite some dirt on the balcony, the wellness area could have also been cleaned more thoroughly and the breakfast area as well.Shower gel was a nice high quality brand but it was empty on our last day and nobody noticed that it should have been filled up. Outdoor swimming pool was extremely cold as it is not heated at all.The breakfast was simply not in line with a 5 star hotel, the variety and quality of the food served was very basic and industrial. No home made juice, no fruit salad, no salmon, dry pastries served and marmelade and honey were very industrial together with orange juice. Coffee machine served basic quality coffee. Sparkling wine was not cold. The staff at the breakfast area was not cleaning up the tables frequently and we had to look at our dirty plates for a long time before finally someone fetched them. More attention should also be paid to missing items such as coffee mugs.

The serenity and calmness of the hotel and the area around it

Breakfast and dinner were average at best + lack of gym was a big surprise!

Just like in the pictures. Resort is located in a quiet area which makes the whole experience very relaxing. Staff is professional and hospitable. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious, well equipped. Lovely terrace with a view. Wellness area is very clean and modern. Breakfast is great.

At this resort almost everything was perfect. Resort is beautiful, food is tasty, although breakfast was every day the same. But we didn't mind. Rooms are new, clean and beautiful, pool and spa is perfect. Evergreen services are top level. Special thanks to Miss Alexandra, young, kind and proffessional lady. She made me feel good and calm and the massage was just incredible.The only thing that i would say wasnt ideal were the waiters. Don't get me wrong, they were kind.But they came to our table maybe once in 40-60 minute time and we were the only people there. At that time there were 4-5 waiters. We felt like we bothered them when we ordered something. To be fair, the "older" ones worked their tables as they should. When they took care of us, everything was fine.So overall it was a nice vacation, definetely would come back.

A grand resort with exceptional rooms and grounds. Staff were wonderful as was the in-house restaraunt.

Everything ok, except...

Too few sunbeds outside at the welness. And people come in the mornig and reserve their beds . Then go and play golf. And visit the welness in the afternoon. You should really do somethig about this.But other than this, all is well. Wellness is nice, staff is frienedly and helpful, well maintainesd, clean.

There was no gym with machines, or available yoga or any sessions during daytime at weekends. It is a shame because if it is raining and you don't want to sit in the jacuzzi all day, or play golf, there is not much else to do here. Also, the amount of sunbeds inside and outside are limited, could be much more.

Apartment was very comfortable, breakfast and dinner was delicious. Good selection on the buffet breakfast and dinner was a la carte menuAlthough I don't play golf, the other facilities were perfect.

Great location with the surrounding environmet, beautiful atmosphere and really great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever.Everything about the resort was exceptional. It was very clean, stylish, and the apartments are huge! On my second stay, I also got a sauna on the balcony. So very well equipped.Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. I was very pleased with my stay. When I will visit Zala again, I will definately come back to Zala Springs!

Despite all the problems with the rooms, I received a 10% discount discount as compensation + everything that was in the mini bar at the hotel's expense

I booked the best room available. An hour after I entered the room I realized that the air conditioner was not cooling and the technician would only arrive a day later. They moved me to another room (much smaller - it's important to note that I received a credit for the difference in cost), and also in the new room - there was a blockage in the shower and the entire bathtub was flooded with water.
