The onsen!

Dormy Inn Kofu offers a consistently comfortable and reliable stay, just as you would expect from the Dormy Inn brand. The rooms are clean, well designed, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of travel. The public facilities are excellent, and the onsen is especially enjoyable—well maintained and perfect for unwinding in the evening.Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide and satisfying selection. The complimentary late-night ramen is, of course, a lovely touch and a very welcome treat after a long day. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout my stay, which made the experience even better.

The only downside is the location. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the station, and the route includes a pedestrian overpass, which can be inconvenient if you’re traveling with large or heavy luggage. Aside from this, everything else was great, and I would still happily recommend Dormy Inn Kofu for a comfortable stay.

The hotel has a lot of complimentary facilities that you can enjoy, like an onsen, a relaxation room where you can read and borrow manga, massage chairs, complimentary noodles in the evening and more. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and polite. The breakfast option, should you choose it, has a large variety of good quality and healthy food.

It is a standard Dormy Inn hotel, so it has everything you would expect - onsen, ice cream after onsen, late night small ramen, and all the standard amenities. The onsen on one of the sides has a view on mount Fuji which was great.

Not the hotel per se, but the cross road before the hotel has a pedestrian bridge, so you have to climb it with your luggage if you are coming from the train/bus station.

The location was good and clean. Breakfast was very nice.

The bed was too hard and smaller. Need queen size bed.

Specious room , clean. With excellent shower. Staff friendly , check in/ out by machine, English available. Parking available. Very nice big onsen .

Wending machine with water and not only alcohol would have been nice.

We made a reservation at this hotel, but there was a "sister hotel" with a similar name 5min drive apart. By mistake, we showed up at the "wrong" Dormy Inn. However the staff checked us in, and made no issue with our "mistake"...

Nice hotel, excellent facilities, delicious breakfast

Good location with good Onsen nothing too complain , we got pm2.5 measurement meter it was zero in the room so the hotel has very good fresh air to breath hard to find now a day , love Yamanashi !!!

Nothing much except no free parking

Great car parking, good location, comfy room and really friendly English speaking staff.

I’m sorry to say, noisy Chinese guests on my floor, very loud early morning/late at night.

Good for a short stay, but not longer. Pretty fine breakfast.

Unfortunately bed and pillow ware not so comfortable. Bathroom has a very strong chlorine smell. Didn’t had a chance to try public baths because of too many people.

This place was perfect. We loved it so much we immediately booked for two other hotels in the Dormy Inn chain later in our trip. The onsen was so lovely, with a view of Fujiyama. The massage chairs were so nice. Free ice cream, ramen and Yakult was a bonus. The breakfast was incredible. Love this place. The staff are the loveliest.

Nothing, it is perfect.

Bed/ pillow a bit hard …

The location is right at the city centre so everything is in the walking distance.

The pillow! I don't know if it's a Japanese thing but pillows at many hotels in Japan are either too hard or too low - there's no between. If you want a good night sleep, try somewhere else.

This place is very clean and provides free laundry next to the onsen. Free ice cream and drink next to the laundry room. Can eat ice cream while waiting for your laundry. To use the dryer is ¥100 for 20 mins. About 10 minutes walk to the JR station. The staff are very helpful.
