La Vista Fujikawaguchiko

Beautiful, great location, amazing view, great breakfast. Appreciated the greeting drinks and ice cream. Loved the bath with view of Mount Fuji! Walked to the lake.

Maybe a few different snacks in the room.

Amazing views of Mt Fuji, staff were very helpful, very clean, private baths a bonus, free drinks for several hours, coffee grinder in room a great touch

The beds were firm but that seemed to be the case for all the Hotels we stayed in in Japan

The hotel cancelled our room right when we arrived, without informing us beforehand. There were no available hotels in the area, and the only option they offered was another hotel where we would have had to pay an additional €112. In the end, we agreed to go to the other hotel, and the receptionist told us it was booked for us. However, when we arrived, the hotel said they had not received any confirmation. Because there was no solution, we had to return to Tokyo during the night.

Incredible views of Mount Fuji, the lake in the views was nice as well. Room was spacious with a mini kitchen counter area, then seperate bathroom w/shower, and toilet in it's own room. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, the coursed dinner was great. Service friendly and spoke fairly solid English! LOVED the many Baths also.

Check out time was 11, and was a bit rushed

View of the room and bathtub on the balcony was exceptional. They also provide robes to wear. We plan to come again someday

Only dinner was too expensive that we preferred eat outside.

Breakfast had a huge variety and the location was beautiful! My massage was wonderful. They had baskets with everything you need to take down to the baths. The shuttle was nice to ride to the train station in the morning.

The property is great but some foreigners especially from South Asia were rude to the staff and lacked common sense. The lady kept screaming at the staff even though clear instructions were written . I am myself Indian but felt so embarrassed with her behaviour! She threatened the staff that she will rate poorly. So rude !

The view from room is phenomenal!! One doesn’t need to step out , the outdoor bath from room facing Fuji San is brilliant!

During peak time it can get too crowded with wait time for dinner , sauna etc

The location is spectacular - a luxurious spacious and delightful resort away from the busy and tacky town centre.The rooms are generous, and the private baths on the balcony are a complete delight.The food is excellent (breakfast in particular, but the Japanese dinner was great) - half board is completely worthwhile.The staff were helpful and extremely responsive.The free evening drinks before dinner were a great bonus

A few guests took the liberty of smoking, but this cannot really be held against the venue.It would have been great to have slightly better coffee making facilities in the room, but the coffee machines in the lobby made up for this.

Great view - The view is simply fantastic, especially in the morning when the sun rises (sunset also great). Great photos can be easily taken on the balcony.Convenient hot spring bath - All the necessary clothing and towels are provided. There are also 5 private hot spring baths.During my stay, there were always vacant ones.Wonderful dinner - Apart from good food and service, La Vista also gave me a little dessert surprise after telling them I was celebrating my wedding anniversary when I booked the trip. Thank you for giving us a wonderful wedding ceremony trip!

Staff were outstandingly helpful and prompt. Great options for private or public Onsen. Also provided free shuttle service to the train station until 11:30 am.

The breakfast, very few items I can eat as a vegan. And the staff refused to boil some noodles for me.

Have direct view of Mt Fuji from our hotel room 706. The room was spacious even with 4 occupants. The welcome wine and juices are excellent. The dinner was above our expectations. Only down side is there isn’t shops within walking distance from the hotel.

It’s away from where many of the tourists go. Beautiful view and very close to the lake. Beautiful view of the lake

My only critique is that my 3rd floor room didn’t have the lake + mountain view / but you still have an amazing view of Mt Fuji so my complaint is minimal.

Mount Fuji views from the room were amazing. Happy hours in the evening and 24hr. coffee machine in the lobby was a nice touch.

No vegetarian options in breakfast. The spread was heavily focused on Oriental cuisine.

The power went out around 9:30 am on November 23 and still did not return after our checkout at 11 am on November 24. We were told we would be getting a refund for the night stay of November 23 to 24 and dinner cost due to the power outage, and staff acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. I used the translator to explain to the best of my ability, but they said I was not getting a refund, contrary to what I was told. Additionally, due to the power outage, I could not use the toilet in my own room, or get ready appropriately. We stayed on the 6th floor, so to use the restrooms on the 1st floor, we had to take 2 separate elevators, which is about a 5-10 minute walk. There was only 2 restrooms available for guests to use for 5 floors of guests. The food I had bought and stored in the mini fridge went to waste… I would really like a refund for the night of November 23 and 24, as I was promised by hotel staff. Aside from this, we had a shuttle service reserved for 9:30 am on Nov. 23, and we went down to the lobby at 9 am to forward our luggage to Tokyo. The receptionist took our information and instead of helping us, she told us to wait and assisted other hotel guests, causing us to miss our shuttle and have to wait another hour for the 10:30 shuttle. Overall, the room was great and spacious, the views were amazing, and amenities were well worth it. The breakfast and dinner service had great variety, and worth the extra cost.

We loved everything about this property and will recommend it to anyone visiting Fujikawaguchiko. The amenities were amazing. We loved the private baths and the delicious food. The customer service was beyond delightful. Beautiful view of mt Fuji with an outside bath in the room.

There is not a single thing we disliked about this property.
