- Scheduled, shuttle buses to the train station were provided. The hotel is pretty nice, well decorated. The room I stayed was spacious, quiet, clean, and comfortable; with the view of the Yatsugatake mountain ranges. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, fresh and delicious. Stargazing activity out in the field was quite memorable. The weather was so nice with clean breeze and clear sky. Hospitality-minded staff were very impressive, attentive, helpful, and polite.

- The star gazing would have been more enjoyable if is it was translated. It was explained only in Japanese. I suggest that a summary sheet in English or appropriate visitor foreign language be given. This sheet should contain points numbers 1 to 10 or more, each point explaining what the guide expects to show the visitors. She can then refer to the numbers and explanation when she points to the sky. That way we can understand and follow what she is trying to convey.

I had an amazing stay at Yatsugatake Grace Hotel! Absolutely loved the stargazing activity!
Its location is quite out-of-the-way, but that’s also the reason why stargazing is possible.

rooms are big and clean.
no English speaking staffs and hotel restaurant don’t serve food after 7 pm.
Breakfast was excellent, very thoughtfully prepared with good varieties over our three nights’ stay
The hotel has free star gazing activity, which is very good. Unfortunately the weather was not good during the period of my stay.
