Grounds and charm
The customer service was phenomenal!
Property with character, and beautiful history. Wonderful breakfast.
Property could use some upkeep.
Old and charming, clean and wonderful breakfast
Air conditioning took a little persuasion it we got it going.
Close to Treviso airport and that was the only draw!
Extremely old hotel with dated furnishings and eccentric to the point of being downright weird!
Breakfast was good. Rooms was nice. Place could use some renovation. Improvement of signage would be helpful.
The restaurant needs improvement. Food was ok.
The villa looks amazing a piece of history, also the garden to have a walk in, take some time to enjey the place inside and outside too. It's close to the the city, but offers a really calm envirnment. The breakfast was superb, everything fresh and superb quality, the dinner was also really good.
Our rooms was quite far from the main building, but it come from the history of the building. The kitchen at the dinner - altouhg they made super meals - was terribly slow, to get the first course was more than 1 hour and there were only a couple of guest.
Beautiful surroundings, friendly and helpfull staff, good breakfast, private courtyard and parking with automatic gate. It was worth visiting
Shower wasn't working in our room but we were offered another room to settle this which is good, but this situation shouldn't have happened in a 5* object. It must be challenging to maintain such a huge old property and all the surroundings, but the rooms are a bit worn out and could use rennovation.
excellent location and stuff
heating control and restaurant offer should be better
Beatiful building and park, good location.
Electric car charging has an unreasonably high extra charge. We ended up charging at a nearby public charger.
The reception staff is nice, the hotel has a special character, but it is not 5 stars, I think maximum 4 stars. Also the breakfast is by no means 5 stars. Despite all this, it was a pleasant stay. A hotel with history but the present does not live up to the past
You are staying in an old and somehowt tired building
A stunning villa and property. The room was clean and nice. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly.
We had a room with a garden view and the front leading out onto a loggia. We enjoyed the seating area provided there for each room along the loggia. Only draw back was the neighboring rooms being occupied by smokers who used their areas to have a smoke. The living room was of a good size with a sofa corner (one sofa, no armchairs), an area with a dining table for four (we only had two chairs though) where the coffeemaker and fridge was. Then there was the bedroom and bath.
The room was cold, damp and smelly. The front door (leading out onto a loggia) had a whole in it near the lock so cold air could creep in around the clock (as this was in October that wasn't very nice). We couldn't get the heating to work leaving us with a too cold living room and a too hot bedroom. The bed was lumpy and therefore very uncomfortable. There was clearly some sewage problems in / under the room making a part of the bedroom smell strongly like a portable toilet, a smell that intensified every time the toilet was flushed. We reported this to reception, and someone was going to come and have a look and smell, they never showed up, despite repeated conversations about it. Neither where we offered to change rooms or a discount on the fee.Other things we asked reception about and they promised to look into and report back on, they never did. Such as if we could get a late lunch at the golf restaurant on a Monday afternoon (the golf restaurant had no hours specified on their website). So clearly, communication within the departments and / or staff and guest wasn't excellent. The breakfast was... I don't know. They have a juice press but the possible ingredients had often seen their best day so you didn't dare use the machine afraid you would get ill. For example first day the carrots where soggy, the second day the fresh ginger was moldy. When you asked for tea you got a pot, which is great, but it was only half filled with water. This was annoying as you had to ask for more pots than necessary to have your breakfast dosis of tea satisfied. The buildings themself where charming, however it was a lot more run down than I had expected from the pictures online. The building has clearly seen its best days, or they never renovated it as full as they should have, and is in dire need of a renovation.
Very beautifll old villa, like sleeping in a museumQuiet location outside of town with besutifull surroundings, place for you if you like resr
Very poor breakfast for a 5 star hotel. Minimum choice of food and drinksNot the best maintained object, i understand it is very old but thing thst are modern and sdapted should be clean especially room carpets and couchesIn my opiniom it is 4 star hotel at best, with s historical twist
Very clean an quiet Comfortable bed and nice breakfast
The gentile elegance Swimming areaHistory and age of property
Needs some TLC here and there
Good location, not far from the central road. Very comfortable rooms
Very poor internet in suits. Didn't connect at all.
Location and breakfast
Wrongly categorized. A 3 more than a 5 in need of full renovation. Extremely old. Bugs on the bed, my husband got 26 bug bites in bed. Room 125
