Albergo Ristorante Orazio

What a find! Staff, ambiance, appearance, amenities and cleanliness were exceptional. A picturesque old-school Albergo with contemporary interior, on a hillside with gorgeous lake views. An absolute gem.

A little isolated in terms of amenities; you need a car, or bike at least. And that hill is steep! Google Maps will also (unnecessarily) bring you up a very narrow stonewalled laneway. There are better alternatives!

+ Room was comfortable and wonderfully peaceful with lake view from the small balcony+ The old architecture was preserved amidst modern facilities + Courtyard was a pleasant afternoon sun-trap+ Anna was an excellent hostess - always attentive+ Martha, student working as a waitress, was absolutely delightful and attentive+ Food was excellent and well priced+ Excellent wine list and good quality local wines by the glass+ Private car parking- Shower has nowhere to put toiletries. As other reviews, it simply needs a shelf- Glass tumblers needed in the rooms - not cardboard or plastic- No tea or coffee making facility in the room- Fridge non-functioning

good and clean room, breakfast was ok, although not very big, but it is not high season so it is understandable; staff was very good, so it's a nice little place to stay.

Albergo Orazio is wonderful, comfortable spacious rooms, delicious food and helpful and friendly staff. We had a large balcony with stunning views over the lake and Mount Isola. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty with various cheeses, cold meats, pastries and jams and fresh bread. We ate at the restaurant three evenings of our short stay and highly recommend it. The pool is perfect at the end of a day out and about, also has lovely views. Anna, the owner was great, we had trouble with our onward travel due to a train strike and despite us having checked out and left she responded to our email plea and sorted a taxi for us.

Breakfast was SUPERB !!! Swimming pool with a VIEW !!! Big room with Perfect VIEW !!!

Very cute restaurant, nice and calm pool. Good location - we made it relatively easy on food to the lake everyday for long walks (though for that be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the place is in mountains and the ways are not plain, they are quite the opposite :))And the lake view was gorgeous.We surely recommend this place for a weekend getaway!

I guess the breakfast could be a bit richer on the salty side - mostly there were cereals and cakes (very very tasty though)

Lovely place. The view on the balcony and at the swimming pool is fantastic. Food is good at the restaurant and at the breakfast. Remember to reserve a table! Food is relaxed, some dishes top others clearly. Self made cakes at the breakfast, especially the chocolate cake was excellent.

Beds were little on the hard side.

The place is like you're in heaven. Brings you to another atmosphere. Everything you need is there - parking, pool, wi-fi, and restaurant with amazing food for dinner. It is within walking distance from the port and the lake. Perfect place, I would book again if going there.

Breakfast could be slightly richer. Some vegetables would be nice.

It was in a lovely location, with great views over the lake. It was well appointed, very clean and well run. The owners and all staff were friendly and helpful. Our vegan diet was well catered for in the restaurant.

The views from our balcony were like looking out over the Italy you imagine. Red tile roofs and church bell towers. Lake Iseo down below. Perfect.

Possibly a little lacking in simple things like shelves for toiletries in the shower and no fridge in the room.

The room was lovely with a beautiful view of Lake Iseo.A lovely pool, again with a lake view and plenty of loungers. Ate with another family at the restaurant on a couple of evenings and the food was wonderful.The very helpful Anna arranged an airport transfer for us in the very early hours of the morning and also put us in touch with a car rental company.Will definitely be returning.

very minor complaints,The pillows on bed were best described as solidAnd without SatNav it would be quite difficult 5o findAlso there are very few places to eat in village,so best do what we did and eat there

pool and the view from pool is amazing. it’s very quiet there. Room was clean and nice.

breakfast was the same every day. no fresh vegetables. only two staff members spoke english. Restaurant had no classics, no fresh salads - not even on the side of the meal. no music anywhere.
