Hotel Bartis

The room was small but clean. The location was perfect. Brekfast was nice.

Tv didn't work.

Bicycle friendly. Great location downtown. Elevator. Friendly helpful host. Nice breakfast.

Hot water kettle in room was dirty.

Hotel Bartis is located right in the centre of Bartoszyce, on the market square. 5 minutes from the hotel, there is a beautiful park by a river - perfect for dog walking. The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast gave a sufficient choice of tasty food. The extra cost for a dog was just 30 zł, which is perfect. The hotel staff were very pleasant.

Perhaps a fridge would be a good addition to the room, but we had our own, so it wasn't a problem :)

Returning customer so knew location was good.

Disappointing stay. First came here in 2009 and back then it was fantastic. The place was fully staffed and the service was excellent. They had a large indoor pool and gym which I used daily. Breakfast was self service but staff were on hand.But now it’s completely changed. The pool and gym are closed, the staff are few and far between and not particularly welcoming. No staff at all to be seen at breakfast. Housekeeping was also not good. In the 7 days of our visit the bed linen was not changed at all, and towels only twice. If you visit in the summer, then my recommendation is to request to NOT have room 312, 313 or 314 as the place has no air conditioning and a tiny single window which can’t be fully opened. The rooms were like an oven. Bearing in mind these rooms are supposed to be deluxe then it’s not good.It looks like this hotel has not been properly assessed / rated since 2018, so the change may well be down to COVID. If so then fair play for keeping it open. But it’s certainly not what I expected.

Price and comfiness of bed

Location is good but they need to up their game. Would have happily paid more for a better experience.

The breakfast was very polish in style, naturally, but you couldnt get toast or edible eggs. Many local "delicacies" but not your usual breakfast fare. Bedroom was cramped and very basic. Hotel staff were nice but refused to get be a residents drink after the restaurant had closed. They also were dressed in casual wear which I thought was quite inappropriate.

Old fasion hotel in the center of small town. But rooms are clean and everything works. Breakfast was amazing!

The bed could’ve done with a thicker level of foam and an additional couple of pillows and an additional duvet. The steps in the room were a little slippery. I think a anti-slip grip could be applied to the stair.

Just minor things. Only two tea cups in triple room, and very small kettle. As an old building, a bit complicated to navigate with stairs here and there. View from 2nd floor only to the roof, and some work was going on there in the morning. TV system complicated to operate. Kind of outdated feeling

The quality of the staff is poor, and they are not enthusiastic enough to ask anything. It was reported that there was a problem with the WIFI in the room, and she couldn't do anything about it.The toilet is very dirty, and there is a pool of stains on the cover.

Incredible value for money! Clean comfy rooms, lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Location is superb - right in the town square. Very popular with cyclists with safe internal storage.

Good location and parking. Very good breakfast. During traveling good place to spend the night with all the family.
