Nothing, everything was fantastic

Everything was excellent. The food was amazing, the staff was very friendly and helpful with everything, very beautiful views. This hotel is a great destination for families and I recommend it.

The hotel is newly renovated and cozy. The staff is helpful even though their English is limited. Dinner was really nice with salad, soup, maincourse and dessert every night.The bus for Alpendorf bergbahn left from the hotel every hour. We could for sure stay here again.

Rooms were decorated very tastefully, lovely location (would recommend having a car though) was very nice to wake up in the morning with the view of the horses in the field. Staff were very kind and friendly I very much enjoyed my stay. Food was excellent in the hotel. Didn’t get the chance to use the wellness facilities whilst I was there sadly but it all looked very nice. I would recommend a stay here. Overall great value for money.

My room was a little cold I think that the heating wasn’t working properly.

This small family-run hotel, located in pleasant surroundings on the outskirts of Sankt Johann, literally assaulted all our senses. Impeccable cleanliness, furnishings and decorations made of quality materials with attention to every single detail (including the incredibly great smell throughout the hotel), extra friendly staff complemented by the hotel's mascot - a dog (as we were in winter, we unfortunately didn't get to meet the rest of the animals). Comfortable rooms and excellent cuisine offered us everything that a good ski holiday should have. At the same time, transfer between the hotel and the Alpenberg ski resort is also very easy, as there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, from which a free shuttle bus runs several times a day (we didn't take advantage of it, as we were in the top ski season and the bus was crowded, but such an option is always a pleasure). Thank you for a great stay, I've already booked another one for next year's skiing. :)

My only complaint is about the sauna area, which unfortunately operated only from 15.30 to 19.00, when it was always full. Moreover, people were sitting in it wearing swimsuits (I was hoping that this couldn't happen in Austria, that I would be forced to inhale carcinogenic fumes from the swimsuits of those who didn't understand the point of the sauna - but that's not the hotel's fault). I would definitely welcome if the sauna would be open in the evening as well, at least until 10pm.

Very friendly and professional staff, clean rooms, excellent and delicious food, family and pet friendly hotel, beautiful environment. There was indoor playroom for children. I can just recommend the place for families or who have pets.

Our room was very cold, and was very difficult to sleep. Unfortunately it could not be heated up, and woke up in the night as it was freezing.

The room is spacious..Good location..buss stop next to the hotel.Good breakfast..For families with kids this hotel is perfect.. they have kids activities..the farm with horse and other animals..kids love it..

The small pond for the kids is not really well maintained..It would be nice if the bigger pond had a different depth and not too deep(2.5 m).Could be more nice if the dinner menu is a la carte.

An incredibly sweet family hotel. Great location. The animal farm was great for the kids. The beautiful yard is great for adults on pleasant days. Pleasant family atmosphere.

One of the hotel staff were not that interested in giving us pool towels but did it anyway. They suggested that we use the bath towels for the pool as well.... On the other hand, the hotel owners are nice and helpful. Dinner is served to the table which is an excellent concept. Only there is one vegetarian or meat choice.Yet When the children were not satisfied with the food served to them, they did offer us an alternative. The breakfast, as in all of Austria, is quite limited and repetitive. But despite all these we had a pleasant and joyful experience.

Excellent family hotel. Super clean and well maintained. The animals were a big bonus with the kids.

Kids menu could have been healthier than just pommes, sausages and junks.

Comfy beds, nice location with a view, decent breakfast, decent dinner, helpful staff.

Screaming, crying and shreaking children could be heard constantly the early morning and evening from the room next to the stairwell. Children were running up and down the hallways for an hour, which was loud, too. We understand there are kids, but some rules could be observed with regards to the shared hall and there could be better sound proofing. We asked to switch rooms and they agreed, but the sound was only a little better in the other room and it had no balcony. There were flies in the room that bothered us all night, and also in the dining room. In the morning we had to convince the staff to let us eat breakfast on the terrace. We thought sitting on the terrace should be easy but it was done on special request. A kid was coughing and sneezing all over the open breakfast buffet. Not so hygenic. Not the fault of the hotel but with all the other issues, too much.

The area is wide and open, many things to do with kids, playground, indoor play room, pets and horse riding. On the evening, there are activities with María, my daughter liked them a lot. The staff is amazing, available and respondes fast. Food is extraordinary, with high quality meals. Highly recommended!

Nothing. This place is close to perfection

Nice hotel, very clean, helpful and happy staff and food was very good. The apre ski snack was wonderful after a long day of skiing.

Check in was really awful. Receptionist was really angry at us, because we don’t speak German, but she doesn’t understand English. It took as several hours to check in. Also confusing was that at the man who works at restaurant was trying to joke with Russian words. Letland is nothing to do with Russia.

The staff was nice, and the dinners were great. It is a great location, close to ski lifts and a small town.

Kids ran around the hotel and became noisy till late at night. The windows in the room are not the best noise proof and facing the main road and main entrance of the hotel where people gather till late at night to smoke and chat was not the best for our sleep.

Everything is perfect, nothing can be improved. We stayed here the second time and will go back again. Better than other more expensive hotels in the area, we tried them.

Lovely, quiet hotel with excellent meals included. Good for families. Hourly bus to the skiing at Alpendorf. Added bonus of a lovely brown labrador that was keeping an eye on everything.

One needs to be aware that the hotel is in a very quiet hamlet therefore no apres ski in a multitude of bars but the hotel has its own bar that filled the gap. Not really the place if you want a lively nightlife. You have to eat in the hotel but meals are excellent.
