This hotel offers a combination of breathtaking views, super welcoming and friendly staff, and delicious food! Staying there was a wonderful experience – perfect place where you can unwind, appreciate the beautiful mountain landscape and feel completely relaxed. Looking forwarding to visiting again!

There wasn't any point about this stay that I didn't like it.

Love the location, the farm land, the sound of the cow bells, and we loved the staff. We fell in love with the property. The room was very nice with a wonderful sunset view.

Swimming pool is too cold (install solar water heater on the roof to heat the pool). Bath robes are missing and was told we have to "rent" them (silly to have to rent). The room is missing the basic Nesspresso coffee maker, and missing a little refrigerator in the room for our food. My wife and I live in Hotels FULL TIME. Other similar Hotels have the basic Nesspresso maching and little refrigerator. (cut some of the trees down that serve no purpose other than blocking the view)

We wanted to visit Liechtensteinklamm (the gorge) on our way back home from München to Budapest. It was a spontaneous decision so we were lucky to find accommodation at all one day before our arrival in Ober-alpendorf. Booking hotels in the Salzburger area means you get a Mobilitätsticket, which allows you to use public transport for free, even in the town Salzburg and we also got a Gästekarte with lots of discounts to the main places of interest. As for the hotel: it is about 2 km from the gorge. Walking uphill can be challenging, as it is located on a steep hill, so I would recommend taking your own car/renting a bike instead. Some members of the hotel staff speak English, 2 out of 5 people actually, but if you speak German a little, like us, everybody will be really helpful.

We were expecting some restful sleep but the beds weren't that comfortable.

What a gem! AMAZING views, incredible staff, clean, and the best food ever. Will definitely return. Everyone should stay here at least once in their life.

The "extra" towels can be improved or the hours of the sauna and pool (we wanted to take to the thermals and you can in additional fee to receive another towel)Besides this - excellent

Great location, excellent breakfast and wonderful service

Great stay and nice staff. Nice room with balcony and desk and a big bathroom. The breakfast buffet was very good.

My only point is that I wish the sauna and pool are available in the morning before check-out. We arrived late and both were closed already and only the pool was usable from 11am in the morning. Luckily the staff let me stay a bit longer and use it.

The accomodation is really nice, the staff was helpful and we did not jave any problems with that. The breakfast was really good and had a lot of varieties.

The fact that they did not have slippers at the room, the bathroom was not completely clean, there were cigarettes in the ash tray on the balcony from the previous guests. The worst thing about the accommodation is that at night I requested two mugs of hot water so I could drink my medication for the flue. They charged those as if we took teas, 8€ for hot water, and they did not tell us that they will charge it. Outrageous! On leave they mentioned that they had to wait for us to arrive (at 21:30 hrs) and the employees stayed until 23:00 hrs at the hotel, so I think that that was not professional. I texted that there was traffic jam and we could not arrive by 20:00 hrs. This is the reason we would not come back. Accommodation is about hospitality, you are not selling other things but the sleepover and breakfast.

The hotel feels quite new and clean.

I've booked this hotel because of the raving reviews about the views from the room, and made sure I booked a room with "mountain view", but was thoroughly disappointed to find that my view was just a wall in front of me.When I contacted the manager he claimed that my complaints are not relevant because "You booked the cheapest room and if you step out to the balcony and look to the right you can see mountains".He did agree to move us to another room, which was facing the garden instead of a wall (but not mountains or scenery).Overall we were left with a sour feeling because we felt we didn't get we paid for, and because of the unpleasant and condescending approach of the manager.Also, as others mentioned:- No fridge in the room- No kettle in the room- Pool is cold and closes early, which makes it not very usable

Great and quiet location, clean and modern rooms, a lot of parking spaces. Excellent and various diners, we stayed for 6 night and every evening diner was different(it's also possible to choose main course).

Smoking is a real issue as was already mentioned in previous reviews.Balconies are located next to each other and every evening and morning you're falling asleep and waking up in the smoke. At the same time you can't sleep with closed windows/doors to the balcony(hot and high CO2 level) since there are no ventilation/airco in the rooms (what is expected though).
