    Pros +

    • Family hotel, lots of history and tradition. It's generally clean and nice. Incredibly helpful and kind staff - they really make up for most problems you face during the stay.
    • Location was great close to ski slope and lifts. Service was fantastic, staff very friendly all speak English and ready to help. The spa was clean, included wet and dry sauna and a good size pool.
    • Perfect location right next to the ski schools. Very convenient with kids. Perfect staff.

    Cons -

    • This is certainly not a ski in-ski out hotel - unless you're a pro skier that can run down the Streif. I booked a suite but was "by mistake" almost given a regular deluxe room. Breakfast is weak and variety is not great. There was construction for the race on our week, which was noisy- sometimes till late at night.
    • Room was a bit on the pricey side. Very hard to get a massage in the hotel due to shortage of staff on that front.
    • Rooms could refurbished and more up to date

Good, quite location at the bottom of the mountain slope and golf course. Short walk into town.Train station a 10 minute walk, although uphill.Large room with good size balcony. A slightly limited breakfast but with freshly cooked omelette etc. Receptionists were very friendly as were the other staff.Nice looking pool and gym but did not use.

Only negative was the fact that I can't recall any way to book the evening meal at the time of booking. The evening menu was too expensive for me so I ate in the town.

The location was great and it was easy to get around without a car. The breakfast was great!

As I am used to, there is no air conditioning at the hotel. However, it was impossible for me to cool the room since the room next to mine was continuing smoking on the balcony and making my room stink whenever I opened the window. I had to contend with being hot in the room until he went to sleep so I could open the windows up.

Everything! Friendly staff, food was excellent, cosy bar. Wish I could have stayed longer but was working. Highly recommend it

Very nice location next to the slopes. Great breakfast.

The dinner quality does not match the level of the other facilities and falls short of the breakfast.

rooms are quite big. restaurant was good

they advertise a fitness area but it was under heavy works for maintenance so I could not use it

Absolutely wonderful stay! Great location, close to "main street", and wonderful views. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Meals are delicious and the hotel staff is so helpful and kind.

Very nice personnel from the front desk girls to the wait staff to the housekeepers. We had a large room with a balcony. Soft comfortable beds and very quiet. But the best part is the superb location. Right on the paste! Ski in, ski out. Short walk to town with all the shops and restaurants.

Everything was good, but maybe new carpeting and slipcovers for the couch.

wonderful staff. comfortable bed and pillows. Nice bathroom

shower would pulsate from hot to cold water

Location good but couldn’t ski out it was too flat and you could only ski in if you are a proficient skier. Breakfast was very good

Very clean, organised. good facility services. Great Breakfast! rich an tasty. great ski-room. very friendly staff.

well, it is not an easy ski in ski out… on the way out you need to carry for several hundred meters till the gondola, and way back the same unless you are very experienced skier that can go down in a very hard red slope which will get you to the hotel. For intermediate folks like me it is not an option. The wellness part is poor, cold pool, no Jacuzzi, damp sauna didn’t work. Dray sauna did. Also, it is not the city centre, you ned to walk 800m to get to the city or take a taxi.Generally speaking Apre Sli in Kizbuhel is rather slow.

    Very good location

Reception doesn't answer the phone, rooms are very old, medium breakfast, sauna closes very early... All in all totally overpriced for what they offer.

I selected the hotel based on the reviews. we were family of 5 (three kids 9, 6 &2 years). the hotel policy says 6years and above considered adults.however, upon check out I was charged also for the 2 year old baby. the location and breakfast were excellent. however I’m aware that the hotel is old and preserved. but I found my insects in the room. plus the toilet has smell. also the shower didn’t function well you get hot water then cold water which was not comfortable for kids to shower.nice outdoor.

bathroom and shower. rooms were a bit worn out

The breakfast was very good, excellent stuff, location.

No freezer, no coffeemaker in room

    8RahelehPosted on: 3-3-2022

Very friendly and professional staff. They were very helpful and accomodating throughout our stay. With cozy traditional rooms, nice views of the mountain from the room. The room was tidied up every day. A short walk to the ski/mountain gondola. The hotel was great value.

It would have been useful to also have a chest of drawers in addition to the wardrobe. The room was shared between the two of us staying in a hotel for one week on a ski trip. Also, the addition of a hot towel rail in the bathroom to dry swimwear after being in the pool would be useful.

Breakfast and all food at the hotel were excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful ( they were a really good advert for the hotel)
