Aktivhotel Schweizerhof Kitzbühel has an excellent location, right in front of the A1 Hahnenkamm area, with very easy access to the gondola. The rooms were also very comfortable; we stayed in a Family Room and had a great overall experience. The hotel was clean and the staff was almost always very helpful.

Our whole family tried the massage services. They weren’t bad, but they weren’t outstanding either. just average. so it’s good to set expectations. Another point that could be improved is the breakfast seating system. Each room had a designated table, but ours was in a dark corner at the back. Even after mentioning this on the first day and kindly requesting a brighter table closer to the windows, we were given the same table again on the second day. Only on the last day were we offered a table outside the breakfast room (which we appreciated). Still, I don’t think fixed table assignments are ideal and it would be great if this could be more flexible.

Staff, facilities and location

The location was very good, breakfast was excellent, fresh and on time. They even opened the buffet 30 min earlier just to let us have the breakfast to catch our eatly flight. The Staff was very helpfull, provided all necessary information and tools needed. One key to access rooms, parking garage, main entrance, and ski room, very convenient. Hotel was very close to the center of the town, 3 mins to walk. It was a quite holiday. Thanks.

The ski in ski out properly was ideally located and made it easy to store the items and recover from an active day with the use of the sauna

I wasn’t a fan of the cold temperature pool but maybe that’s how others like it

Breakfast was excellent with lots of options and everything was super fresh.Location was super convenient, right by the train station as well as the gondola and walking distance from the village center.

no shuttle service from the main train station but we could have taken the train to the Hahnenkamm Bahnhof station instead if I planned better. The Hahnenkamm Bahnhof is very close to the hotel.

Property is perfectly located next to gondola, to train station and very close to town. Great pool and sauna. Service was excellent as well as the food quality.

We had single beds and the duvets just weren’t big enough. Anyone taller that 5ft 8 is going to get cold feet.

Incredibly convenient location at the end of the piste and next to the gondola. Excellent amenities - ski locker room, bathrooms accessible from outside while wearing ski boots, excellent breakfast & other food, great staff (Simon was very helpful!). Reservation with Booking.com included breakfast and car indoor garage parking. High quality furnishings in the room and well designed for hanging ski clothes, place to store helmets, comfortable bed, sizable outdoor balcony.

Rooms are small without much space if you have bulky luggage. Ski locker for my room is a bit small for gear for two people - was very difficult to fit skis + one snowboard in the locker.

Excellent location opposite the main gondola. Able to ski down to hotel too. Secure underground parking with easy access to ski room. The lounge/ bar area is very nice and was never too busy. We liked the book detailing the extensive renovations that have been done.The staff were exceptional, always helpful and very attentive.The breakfast choice was great, we really enjoyed it.Nice spa

A little noisy with children running up and down unsupervised although this is a parenting issue not down to the hotel.

Wifi could be better, rest was very nice. I missed a bench for self tuning of skis.

Location is the best!Hotel is right Next to train & bus station , ski lift, hire and school, views of the mountains from restaurant are stunning , room and shower were very comfortable Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Leonie

We found the staff there so helpful giving us tips on where to hike. etc. Hotel is right beside the Hahnenkamm cable car.This hotel had the best breakfast of all the places that we stayed at in Austria during our 3.5 wk vacation. Fresh squeezed OJ was a real treat. There were just so many choices of items to have for breakfast.The room was very pretty with lots of storage that I am sure would come in handy during ski season. There was a terraceoutside of our room. You could easily walk into town from the hotel to go to restaurants or shops. Very convenient location. They have an underground parking garage there which I am sure would be great to have during the winter. We appreciated them letting us park there for a couple of hours even though we were checking out that morning.Although we didn't use the pool, we did go down to take a look at it. Was a beautiful area.

We had one of the best experiences in a hotel ever. - large and comfortable rooms with a terrace- nice interior decoration- splendid location near one of the cable cars, a few minutes walk from the center of Kitzbuhel- perfect service with helpful and friendly staff- very clean, the room was made during our breakfast meal- excellent restaurant, rich and diverse breakfast, 4 course dinner with many options to chose from- parking inside the building, no problem at this time of the year- good internet connectivity- excellent swimming pool
