Location and view from the balcony overlooking lake Como and the mountains. Spectacular.

I liked everything so nothing negative to share other than perhaps a bit costly but definitely value for the cost.

Location

Rooms seemed pretty old

the room was old, but the view was amazing beautiful. The restaurant is very nice and the food very good, but we didnt know that was working and we went to the bar outside that was not so good.The staff was very kind. The parkingwas good, we rent the Topolino car, it was nice.

th only thing i didn t like is that is that our room was not refurbished, so it was like old fashioned and some parts of the hotel are empty, but i ve loved and I ll say toall my frineds in Brazil. The breakfast is amazing and our dinner at the restaurant was very good.

Great view from the room's balcony of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains.The location is also ideal for day excursions to other places around Lake Como, such as Bellagio.

High Expectations, Mixed Experience

The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the incredible view—truly the best part of the hotel. Our suite was also a standout: very spacious, clean, and comfortable, making for a pleasant in-room experience.That said, a few aspects fell short of expectations, especially considering the hotel’s rating and its location in Italy, where culinary standards are generally high. The room service food was underwhelming, ranging from average to below average in quality. Similarly, the hotel restaurant was just okay—nothing memorable.The breakfast experience was rushed and poorly managed. Staff repeatedly reminded guests that breakfast was ending soon—even as early as 9:20 AM—creating a tense atmosphere that discouraged a relaxed start to the day. It felt more like they were trying to clear the space than provide good service.The lobby staff could have been more welcoming and attentive, and the rooftop bar, while offering nice views, felt dated and in need of an upgrade.Overall, while the view and suite were exceptional, the service and food experience left room for improvement.

Amazing view from the room and balcony of the Lake. Views from restaurant and outside bar/jacuzzi pool area were equally amazing.

The safe in the room was on the floor. As an elderly person, I found it difficult to access.

great hotel, beautiful view, large room. walking distance to Lecca- nice place with good restaurants, and to the promenade next to the hotel, convenient parking. very recommended

Our stay at Hotel Griso Collections was truly exceptional. Despite a few initial concerns based on some negative reviews, I'm delighted with my decision to book. The hotel boasts extraordinary views, evident from the moment you step into the reception area. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. While our initial room didn't quite meet our expectations, Luca (if I recall correctly) was incredibly understanding and graciously upgraded us to a room with breathtaking views and a private jacuzzi. The breakfast offered a good selection of options. The hotel's location is ideal, within walking distance of Lecco Center and even closer to the train and bus station. This made it easy to explore the Lake Como region by bus from the convenient stop just a 3-minute walk away. The hotel staff provided valuable insights on sightseeing options and furnished us with the latest bus and train schedules.

While some areas of the hotel interiors could benefit from a minor refresh or upgrade, the stunning location and breathtaking views more than compensate. Also, our room didn’t have a wardrobe.. I think storing clothes and jackets were a bit inconvenient, especially because we were carrying too many stuffs owing to our 15days travel to other countries.

The location doesn't have much going on around it. There are a couple of restaurants but mostly requires a car or a taxi into more bustling areas of Lecco and Como and Bellagio etc.

Stunning views and friendly staff, very accommodating. Would stay again.

The restaurant on site was very limited, and got denied a window seat as “it was booked” but was only 1 couple sitting in the whole restaurant room. Also we had issues with our safe and the staff on shift at that time had no sense of urgency to get the safe unlocked, plus the master key was not stored on site, we were leaving to fly home 10 hours prior and had no access to our passports. All worked out in the end. But that does not mean we didn’t like the property.
